PostSubject: Sky Insurance & The Orient Academy   Sky Insurance & The Orient Academy EmptyFri 18 Sep 2009, 3:34 am

Hi guys,

first of all, thanks to Ezza for making this happen.. I met a few of you at JAE, my MR2 was parked on the Two Brutal stand closest to the Orient Academy stand..
a great weekend all round I reckon Very Happy

Anyway, here we go:

In a nutshell, my company specialise in car insurance for clubs like this one and for modified/imported cars. We are not promising to beat every price out there but if you meet our criteria we are usually very good.

We believe that anyone who puts the time and effort into looking after and modifying their ‘pride and joy’ is a lower risk than your average driver.

Limitations;
Limitations of the scheme imposed by Sky Insurance are that all policy holders must be at least 19 years of age and have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years. We will be more competitive for the older drivers with a good driving record rather than a 20 year old with 0 NCB looking for comprehensive cover.

Quotes;
To obtain a competitive quote all you need to do is give Sky Insurance a call on;

08701 121 759 or 02083645500

or visit our website site or email Ollie Frost (the car club liaison manager) requesting a callback using the information below;

http://www.skyinsurance.co.uk/car_clubs.html

email to: ollief@skyinsurance.co.uk

Please state that you are a member of the Orient Academy when you phone through.

We are very much an enthusiast company, we have a few genuine performance car fans working here, myself included. We offer the following:

20% Discount for club members

Like for like cover for modifications

Enthusiast company who specialise in insurance for car club members and modified vehicles

Car club member competitions & incentives

Personalised service, no call centres

Company branded car which we take to shows and meets (Celica GT4)

Just one thing, we would always need to speak to you on the phone to go through a quote, we cannot provide a quote via email or PM. Feel free to send me your contact details if you would like a call back at a convenient time,

Many thanks
Ollie

I took your 'yer whatever' post as a little rude, I must say. Most people would to be fair..

o? scratch

We cannot beat every price out there, if we could we'd be the only insurer in the UK!

Again big-al, thanks for trying us and apologies we couldn't help. We cannot win them all.

Kevin did not mention to me that the quote was uncompetitive, in fact he asked if he could call you in a couple of hours once you had spoken to another insurer and you were agreeable to this.

If you wish to discuss further my number is 0208 3645500 and my name is Ollie.

Thanks and my kindest regards

Ollie

Ollie I will be in touch soon,

I have a daily driver cheapy hyndai 1.3 already insured.

How would I go about insuring a car not for daily use, only to be able to drive it to shows drive it to the garages body shops ect not for getting to work or going to my local Tesco?

thanks tesh.

Hi Tesh,

more than likely we'd look at a limited mileage policy for you. You can only use your NCB on one vehicle at a time but we should be able to 'mirror' this over to the second car, we do this with a lot of customers with more than one car, in fact this is how I insure my weekend toy.

Feel free to PM me your contact details if and when you would like a call back.

Thanks

Ollie
