| Hi all, bit of a weird one this and i never thought i'd be posting this up but i need help, i've been asked if i'd like to help organise a car show, probably at east of england showground in peterborough (good showground, Central location). I almost collapsed at the opportunity and thought immediately why not get an idea from all TOA as 20 members input is better than one.
So what does everyone think, any ideas for it?
-Activities -nationality of cars -style of cars -weekend or day -trade stands
etc,etc, etc.........................

| Activities: sumat that involves girls, wet t comp and others havent thought yet lol nationality of cars: i'd love to say just jap but really there isnt that much of sick sick sick cars in the uk jap scene, i'd mix it up with jap and german. we all know that the uk geman/euro looks is heavy!! style of cars: euro/ slammed/ low-of wheels/ clean/ all in all clean and simple, no riced out-chavy cars. weekend: 100%, there isnt that many cars show that are woth goin to these days and we all love a good laff and piss=up. trade stands: i dunno? is people selling stuff at a car show gud? personaly i'd say no because everyone ends up with the same stuff lol
nighttime, a few tents playing different music so everyone can enjoy.

| true good points, well i think food and drinkall in the centre as no confusion and i reckon one burger van at least should be open through the night, or at least till early hours. Cars i agree with you, it's all well and good being just jap, but it would basically be JAE but not as big, i reckon get the VW boys involved too as VW shows are meant to be crazyness, plus its bringing the two most tuned/modified parts of the car trade thinking about it, but would be difficult to be turning chavvy cars away, good post man, any other ideas? bearing in mind the more input we put in, the more rep TOA will get as i should be organising most parts of this, e.g. advertisements for magazines (TOA logo in there?), spending lots of time posting the show on forums everywhere (with TOA in sig) even down to the placement of different clubs stands | |

| well its not 100% deffo as weve only just started to think to organise one. I may have the funding so theres no reason why not, but for it to work its gotta have something no ones seen before at a show, plus advertising etc. Which reminds me, ez would you be up for designing the posters/advertisements etc? youd get paid like. | |

| Location, advertising easy, Estimate how many cars can fit in location if its massive then who cares payment for tikets can be online VIA TOA using paypal an cash on arrival but slightly more on gateif there are gates or is this a free thing?
its not that hard location, entertaininment and clubstands will kinda sort themselves i would reccomend some sort of security as u will always get some pissed up geeza giving it the large and also a cut of time for noise ect u wana make it a wiked show but fair for all not all people come to get mash up all night but i guess it depends wot type of weekend ur looking for its can be car themed but lead onto alot of alternative entertainment like a rave ect.
well thats my 2p worth safe
