im still waiting for the day when i can pay off insurance there and then rather then paying monthly lol

Ned that sounds like a really good price! whats that on, the celica and???

adrian flux are the best i reckon really, i told them about my car being modded and it went down but i still have to pay £1500 tpft
also steve-o tell them you want to put your dad or mom on the policy and it will drop about another £50 or so.
i rang them up to see if i could get it any lower and the women said she's not supposed to tell me but she did and said if i'd of put my dad on when i first got the policy it would of dropped £64 and its free to put them on so i'd defo do that.
try sky insurance on here aswell i've heard there pretty good.

The Stag is with Sky Insurance and the premium isn't cheap.. but cheapest I could find to own that thing..

When I had my EG I was with Green Light.. for some reason the more handling mods I declared the more the premium decreased lol.. I engine swapped, and swapped half a DC2 teg into it including steering and all sorts and came up full comp £925.. this was when I was 22, had 1 years no claims and 1 year license.. When I did a price comparison website quote on a bog standard EG VTi it came back third party fire and theft £1500 cheapest!!

Be worth giving Green Light a visit.. but they will only insure U.K cars.. which is a shame otherwise I'd probs still be with them.. and worth declaring all your handling mods as well thought out handling mods in their eyes makes the car "safer" and so lower premium..

Yes, please don't forget to try my company when you are up for 2010 renewal, we are competitive on most cars, especially import and modified.

Thanks

It's a difficult one Ezza as a 22 year old in the Northwest of England (high risk) is going to pay a lot more than a 22 year old living in Cornwall (low risk).

Insurance is all about the individual more so than the car.

Ezza, i'm 22 with 3yrs ncb. Sky got me with £1000 and that's full mods decalred, like for like cover on them and break down. I'm paying monthly aswell. £108 a month I think.

Pretty much the best deal. If you join the itr owners club you get discount too!

Would reccomend them, customer service is brilliant and when I got hit in my old delsol they got it sorted with no hassle.

Im 26 with 8years NCB and was paying £350 per year for my 1.6 civic (Group 6) fully comp with Elephant.co.uk which i was more than happy with. Then January last year i got caught doing 79 in a 50 and done for 6 points. I phoned elephant in April to renew when my policy ran out and they wanted over £500 to insure me!! (Jog on Knob Head!)
Comparethemarket.com found me Esure, £390 fully comp so try them but do try Elephant as well cos i was with them since 2003 and they were always really competetive.
