is it pressurising too high, making it leak? the seals do go i suppose. i may have a spare i'll check mate

Not sure mate, its got an apexi 1.3 one on there so wouldnt of thought so but could be.
I had a look this morning but couldnt see any damage to the seal, but il have a proper look later on. its only leaking slightly but enough to mess with my head.

Cus, the rad is ok as far as i can see its just leaking out from the cap like.
Ned, if it was an air lock how would i sort it out?

bleed the system mate. where the top hose goes into the block there is a small nut on top with a hole in it. if you undo this a little (car cold or slightly warm) then start the engine untill all the air comes out and you just get a solid stream of coolant.

Thats how it is on a d series anyway. sure a B is the same

im pretty sure there isnt a bleed nipple on a b-series, the other way i know of doing it is to turn the blowers on full either on hot or cold? and then squeeze the lower pipe to get all the air out of it.

yeah it does pressurize dave so should be ok there.
ok il have ago at bleeding it when i get up in a bit.

There's a bleed nipple in a b16a so can't imagine there not being one on yours as I had to do it when changing my thermostat
