did u repaint that rocker ..if so were did you get that paint from and is it the same finnish as the std paint

Ebay, just spray it on and have the heat gun ready, and you can see it dry qith thw wrinkle effect, id say its exactly the same finish as oem

Hi all,

Been a while but been short on cash lately so havent been up to much.

But have bought an SPA dual digital oil pressure/temp gauge along with an oem double din blanking plate, have removed the stereo amd sold it on.

Picked the gauge up yesterday and just waiting for the blanking plate to arrive at honda.

Will also be purchasing a water temp gauge too

Think the two will be plenty, but if you can think of any more that would be useful for an N/A setup please let me know.

Little update! Collected these about an hour ago

Haha the guy i bought mine off has another one for sale, not brand new like the one i had though but still good condition, its fitted now and is really good

Also weighed the calipers and the oem ones too

Oem 5.8kg with pads
Wilwood 2.4kg with pads and custom brackets

So saved 6.8kg just on calipers (:

Also checked the pads to see which ones they were as i didnt know if they were wilwoods own or not, found out they are ferodo ds2500 which has saved me £100 as these are far better than the wilwood compound according to a few guys using the same kit (:

And finally measured the pistons - 4 x 44.5mm pistons

So hopefully with my 282mm grooved discs and ds2500 pads should have some immense stopping power!

And all under oem wheels too! Its tight though! Clearance is like a mm if that! So will purchase some 3mm spacers for up front

Just a little update

My vdo water temp gauge has arrived along with 2 front wheel bearings.




Also cut the holes out of the double din blank ready for them to be fitted.

And lastly the pics of the test fitted calipers




Not going to be doing much to it over the winter as i want to drive it as less as possible and save as much cash ready for next year, plus going to austalia next year too so need to save for that too!
