| Rye and i were just playing heavy rain and it crashed, i turned it of from the playstation cus the controller was unresponsive, and when it came back on it wont log into playstation network or let me play heavy rain, both times it keeps telling me network error 8001050F.
I just looked it up and it seems to be happeing to only old style PS3's, and nearly everyone was sying that after speaking to sony they seng them a box to send their PS3 back in and got sent a band new one a few days later, so anyone with an old style try cashing in!
I'm going to call them tomorrow to find out wtf is going on and see what they say, only thing im worried about is backing up all my data if i have to send it off, i dont wanna loose all my shyt!

| yo my mate sort of lent me his playstation (old one) long story.... and when he had it back the same happend to him, but the game wouldent actually load even tho it was coming up with the little loading disk simble? he phoned up and they said if it is over 3 years old they cant do anythin! they then said that he would have to pay just over a £100 to get it sorted which means that he thought that i'd broke it even tho i didnt do anythin and he wants me to pay half towards which im not very happy about. let me know how you get on with this ez as dont really wanna pay for it. | |

edit: I know what ur sayin i thought that at first but i have had my system all synced up and working perfectly for years, then this whole psn business starts?
