D15 or D16 vtec engine sohc??

any one got or knows of a cheep lump and gear box?? for my mates eg hes got all the loom etc happy to take one out of a car??

dom has just bought an esi (d16z6) and i think he's dropping a b-series in it so that may be up for grabs

ASAp dude and cheep..mates dont mind removing the engine 4 him 2...(thats half his job done ..lol..)

doms engine is knocking, pointless unless your gonna rebuild it and 2 of my mates with esi have rebuilt them and they constantly playing up, wouldent bother is i was him.

depending where you go to for one they usually charge through the roof cuz they all seem to think there like gold dust unless they really dont care and dunno what they've got if that makes sense!?

he aint go the mounts n stuff- etc H22 a big bulid he just lookin g for a quick swap...

its going in a eg coupe right?
thats not a quick swap to put a d-series vtec into a non-vtec shell
have to put a vtec loom in etc...
may aswell put a dohc into it - b or h series

you can just drop a vtec lump in but then you gotta get vtec wired up and depending what engine you may need a conversion harness.

vtec loom all in lads, just need a lump to drop in....
if going dohc needs drive shatfs and mount's...tbh my mates out of work atm so really on a budget and needs to get done in a week...ouch i know ut dont worry if no ones got an engine im sure he will find one himself..

Ive got one Powelly sitin in the garage gathering dust. But its an auto so the box is useless. will need flywheel and box clutch etc etc for manual but all can be taken from his d15 Call me brotha!
