| TBH its really clean I was expecting it to be a nail on the way over but the body work is very tidy theres the odd couple of tiny dinks and a 20p size dink in the bumper but immaculate inside and out...cant wait to get modding this..... proper this time as this is a keeper...
Im after some nice deep dishy split rims to do some tyre stretching or hopfully some pre stretched...just all over the net now looking for some..
Im sure the PCD on a coupe is 4x100??

| Ok so some of you may know ive had some hiccups with her today... She died on me in a tunnel, OMG scared the shit outta me had visions of a lorry ploughing into the back of me.
If you know Birmingham My car died suddenly in the Queens way tunnels through town - Local plod towed me out (nice one to old bill for once) then the nightmare began.
At first I thought i had ran out of petrol, so i filled up and got a jump start. Luckily my missus followed me in her clio...but then every 5 - 10 mins the car cut out again...limped it back to her mums after around 5 jump starts and noticed that the engine management light had come on..so I checked all the fuse's and the Alternator fuse had blown so ive swapped it and got it running again and drove home.
Now the engine management light stays on and the speedometer has stuck at 20mph?? whats the crack?? any idea's any one??
Dave-t and I have been discussing that this may be that the speedometer and alternator share the same fuse?? if so and ive replaced it why is it still stuck on 20mph...?? Its doing my nut in and im a bit shaky to drive it like it is....
Engine code is a D16y7.
Also been scouring the net for some sick rims, nothing takes my fancy in my budget yet but ill keep u posted as soon as .....(stressful day but ended well with a BBQ)

| Makes me wonder if its connected to the reason the old owner wanted to swap? | |

| yo shit like this just pisses me off!
did he say it was mint when you swapped?
i'd be ringin him up to see what the problem was even tho he's gonna say that it was mint when he had it etc
check the fuses under the hood, i mean take everyone out and check.... sounds to me like it could be a faulty relay or sumat also if you pull the glove box down-take of the side plastic by the door there is a relay in a box you should be able to see some wires going into it, check that also as i sort of had some starting problems with my coupe when i did the tuck to do with that relay.
i suppose you could do the old paper-clip cell check to see whats comin up to do with the management light, im sure the codes are in the engine section on here if not just google you engine code etc
trust me dude its proberly somethin really stupid i bet lol double triple check eveythin!!!!!!

| I know mate im not gunna both ringin him cus, ill get mad and end up flyin bk down his and doing somthing stupid. Tbh im sort of glad thqt im having these teathing problems now rather than later, im gunna reset the ecu after the paper clip test im sure its the speedo that nackerd.
Cus u about today fancy a trip to the scrappy later, im thinkin change the clock as a tester if they work then its the speexo trippi g the system but im g unna check all the fuses first.
