| ye that sound like the leads or dizzy breaking down to me, or because you changed the inlet to a z6 one it might be fuel to air etc.. | |

| i think the ideally you'd need to tune it with a map dyno etc, there is an adjuster on those throttle bodies that for the fuel mixture, you need a flat head to turn it. | |

| well its only started since changing the inlet to a side mounted one but i didnt change the gaskets we just used the old ones so im thinking that might be the next thing to do after the dizzy as well as changing the air fuel mix and gettin the timing done then im out of ideas i shall chuck the engine out cut a hole in the floor n flinstone it everywhere | |

| its always good to change gaskets but if sumat was up with the old one there would of been an air leak and caused it to rev and die etc
if you've had nothing checked then it could be anythin really...

| LOL!
I would get a new gasket either way then, could be leaning it out at certain rpm before the fuel pressure builds, if it cures it bonus if not atleast you can rule it out and have a fresh new gasket.
I doubt you would need to resort to mapping/tuning

| ste if your saying when you floor it you dont notice it then i doubt its the dizzy usually if that was the cas then im sure you'd notice it more being as its trying to spark faster, try it anyway i may be wrong, but im sure as a team we can sort the problem.
when you changed the inlet did you notice a drastic change in mpg??
