| Hope you get some over fenders soon or treat the arches or you wont have anything left to attach them onto, (thats if your s body anything like civic metal) because this time last year my eg arches were not too bad after JAE by time christmas came its was bad and by jan/feb it was all over for the arches. | |

| I picked up an mx5 bonnet from a guy yest, he owns a garage called drift garage and he's big into drifting. I pulled up to the unit to a mass of sick lookin s13s and a nice s15 that had been in a fight with A ditch and lost. He's got shite loads of parts and stuff if u need anything. He's only in burton on Trent | |

| Just noticed this^ nice one ste il keep that in mind Well its been a while since the last little update; Finally got round to fitting my charge pipes: Had to put the battery in the boot to make room for the new pipes too; Not long after fitting these I was practicing at that little drift spot and f'd up, slid the front N/S into a kerb at probably about 35mph. broke my skirt off: and bent lower, tie rod and traction bar: Managed to get a new (to me) tie rod for £20 delivered, a new (to me) lower arm for £30 and got the blow torch on the traction rod and hammered that shit straight. I fitted it all last sunday but obviously i had to guess at setting the tie rod and the traction bar so it drove a bit wonky and the steering wheel was off centre. Tesh recomended a place for tracking called Aline in dudley and i can say without doubt they are the best in the region! I had my car tracked back to factory specs to make sure everything was Ok and straight still then he showed me a list of peoples 'profiles' that were saved on the comp (including the DW S15), I chose a setup that was already saved and he made me a profile to save all my settings to so that if i decide to tweak he has a record of what was what when it was last set. So with what aftermarket adjustable parts i had (top hats & traction bars) and in the tollorances of what the other standard parts would allow he set my car up for drift (as much as it will go without adjustable rear arms etc) he even removed my steering wheel to straghten it all out so the car drives true. The car drives PERFECTLY and handles like nothing iv been in before, i cant recomend Alline enough! You even get given a printout showing you before and after (the red ones in the bottom diagram is because my camber is set outside manufacturers specs) | |

| That's class. my s14 had been 4-wheel aligned and geo set-up and it does handle class. you find it grips nicely, untill you want to go sideways | |

| well today i fucked up again, lol fairly big, you can probably imagine how so i wont bore you with details It was the rear NS wheel that took the brunt, the damage done is, wheel curbed (mild, all the way round), bent rear qaurter where tyre has bent the lip 'out', lower control arm bent, toe arm bent. | |

| Ok so braved the cold and fixed it. Needs re aligning but should be fine, its been nice driving it again, forgot how much fun it is.
changed the lower control arm and toe arm, subframe seems to have escaped any damage thank god. Got a nylon hammer on the rear arch and folded the lip back in, jobs a good un.
Got my front works together and sealed too, my mate (the guy i got the car off) came to pick them up for tyre fitting, should be ready tomorrow. I just need to get some spacers though to get them to clear the coilovers. | |
