I share pretty much the same opinion on this as Jeremy clarkson, plus I've had one good friend and my sister in laws father die on them. However on saying that I've always liked the idea of them

My brother had a Honda blackbird back in the day

ive always had an interest in them, and everyone at my work seems to have one.

Me and cus were talking about them the other week.

one big factor stopping me from getting one is, it will ruin me for cars.

how can the power of an NA Honda give you a thrill after you come off a superbike?

another factor, i know i will ride like i drive, and relying on the general public to see me coming is hella scary.

brings me back to the lads at work, anytime it comes up in conversation about me getting my licence, they all say DON'T DO IT!

Regardless of the above, i know i will have one later in life haha

I deffo want one at some point.

Suzuki GP100 was what I grew up on flat out through field no helmets ect.

Honda rev an go in india
Hero Honda 125 in india again no helmets blowing down road dodging cows, dogs and people.

But it all came to an end fro me a pig yes a PIG ran out infront of my brother in india his misses was also on the back of bike no helmets ect they both came of it my brother grabbed his misses so she was cool she just landed on floor minor cuts, but he carried on sliding down the road with the bike pretty much on top of him.

Snapped his wrist and arm had to have massive plates and bolts into his bones.
His foot got twisted up between the gear selectors cracked few bones an ankle there.

And imagine sliding down gravel roads with shorts and T-shirt on he was mess for long time.

So now im banned by family from bikes.

I started looking into them not too long ago while I was with Suze, her dads a collector of oldskool bikes and for ages I said I really wanted to go out riding with them on one, he offered to put me through my bike test which I was all game for then me n Suze split.

Still considering it, would mean I could have a little commuter to get to work on then the likes of the Honda would become more a project then which would be frickin sweet! Very Happy

i had a yamaha pw50 and a suzuki lt50 when i was young haha, sold them both to buy a bigger bike, 125cc, but ended up spending the money on a Playstation, Bmx and other stuff Rolling Eyes

thats some crazy shit tesh, some of the stories my dads told me about driving/riding in india.

when my dad was growing up in India he used to ride alot, when he was 15 he was riding this Norton Matchless, parking it up at the company club, dropped the heavy ass bike over onto his foot. the hot exhaust pretty much cooked one of his toes, can't feel a thing on that toe ever since lol

On the KTM I hit a jump and landed funny, smashing my chest into the handle bars, winded the crap outta me and had a nasty ass bruise across my chest for weeks also had a bit of whip lash. Very painful.

if i got a bike i WOULD die on it.

fastest bike on a field i've rode was a race tuned kx85 and scared the shit outta me such a good laugh though!

fastest road bike i've rode was an aprilla rs125 kinda took it without my mate saying i could, almost died on it about 5 times in the 10 minutes i nicked it, that thing was crazy, dread to think what a superbike would be like.

if i was to get a road bike it would a black R6 in flat black, love them.

YES.

Never even had a proper bike, always just had "peds" (im only 18 so...)
Still though, 125cc with a 172cc cylinder an head.... scary as hell to about 60

Youtube 172cc runner etc.. good built ones have 33+bhp.. not much but for something that weighs about 70kg...
faster then r6's to 60. Mad scary at 16/17 LOL

Really need to get it insured again. And for all the people saying you would kill yourselves you really wouldn't, human nature and instinct will stop you from being a total tool until your used to it. I'd recomend my bike to anybody for a first step up into bigger bikes. Upto 100 it's fast but not much left afterwards, wont pop wheelies even fully open unless you want it too and the seating position is perfect as you really control the bike.
Having rid a few r6s for a first bike you probably wouldn't crash but would be taking spare pants with you, in roads I could hit about 90 in the Rex I was touching about 145 pushing the front wheel into the ground for the fear of god of it lifting.

Been on 70,125,600.
No car can feel as fast but no bike is as safe as a car.
Plus with my car history I'd be dead within 6months.

I'd still really like a nice ducatti or similar lol
