| I think its all multi cultural now, in the new flood street meets. its such a shame that one accident has caused all of this, instead of just changing it to the 2nd monday of the month or even to a tuesday. ill still wear the toa sticker on my car, hoping that the jap onlu meets come back in the new year | |

| I think alot of the TOA core members are just busy at moment, plus its winter.
Only people I knew to keep the meets going through even the coldest days was NED, and Powelley drew in the crowds.
Will pick up in the summer.

| Stock H22A bottom ends are not very strong for boost, weak cylinder walls and FRM liners means you cant just throw aftermarket pistons in either, also H22's do not rev that high and the gearboxes are kinda naff ratios.
BUT.... You have a H22A7 R block higher compression = worse for boost also, but Al iv been of this HONDA/Car scene for while I was no expert in the first place and what I used to know has been forgotten.
ps need to go out in ur ATR one day

Better off doing that tbh, i've hard a lot around different forums that h22 blocks are shit for boost as well. how the hell are you bored of it already though! Lool!

| i reckon as long as the engine is sound and its a proper turbo kit with proper tuning then i dont see why the h block cant take7 or 8 psi and survive, beside h33 engines are cheap like 300 quid | |

| H22's are not good for boost because of the FRM lined block normal H22's from preludes are cheap at around £300 but the ATR and Type S engines are more expensive as they are 220bhp stock, whereas the UK engines are 185 and the JDMS are 200
but still i think 300bhp from just cams, remap and breathing mods seems a little optimistic

| Al, I have cams, valvtrain complete head package with intake N/A ect, errrm I only made about 260bhp after remap H22A block.
300bhp N/A would require some investment.
Al youtube 2.7litre vtec, H27, is a H22 with a stocker kit which makes it a 2.7 I think it was.
Available from pocketrocketmotorsports I always wanted to do this on my H2B but can no longer be arsed with cars.
