| Update time. I've spent all day at my mates garage today and will be going back tomorrow. Please excuse crappy phone pics First thing I did was wire brush and repaint the rusty radiator brackets Then the plan was to do my CV joints and make up some newer longer custom top hats for the rear suspension and then put the old i've taken off the back on the front cause they just about fit under the bonnet and are longer than the ones I made for the front originally. But once I got the car in the air I was greeted with the price of being so low....... So a quick rub down and paint made things look a little better! With that done I got working on the suspension these are the backs when I took them off. As you can see the harsh ride and winter months have really taken is tole on them. I will be needing new springs so I will order them tonight. Here is one of the fronts with one of the rear top hats after a wire brush and repaint The eagle eye'd haters will see that the egay sleeves are on upside down. As Im using them without them being wound up I find they sit better this way. When I get my new springs I wont be needing the sleeves on the back anyway as these have been cut (cause im a cheap knob who didn't know any better ) and this is how it will spend the night more to come tomorrow. | |

| update part 2. I didn't charge my phone the night before so battery was too lowto get all the photos I wanted So after fitting the longer rear top hats to the front shocks I needed some even bigger ones to replace them Monster top hats!...... The shock is now so high that the rear hub now sits like this even when the car is in the air I've had a slight leak where the head meets the block for a while now so I ripped the rocker cover off and gave the ARP head bolts a quick tighten. one had worked itself a little loose. When refitting the earth cable I noticed it looked very old so I made a new one. (Yes I know im missing a stud on the manifold) Another long term fault I've had is brake pedal creap. I brought a master cylinder off Tesh's EK a while ago but never got round to fitting it so that went straight on. Gave the ITG panel filter that i'd bent round the carb inlets a clean too. Last job was to change my CV joints as they have been clunking whilst full locking the steering for some time and recently had been getting worse. Both CV boots had split also. My phone battery had almost died at this point so these are the last pics I got. Both driveshaft boots had also split Update 3 coming very soon. | |

| update part 3 New cv joints installed and new rear trailing arm bushes installed but no pics. it was all put back together and the next day I set off for Emperor Performance to have my front arches flared and rolled. Kev did a grand job. But why did I need this? New rims I thought i'd get away from the "mad tyre strech yo" scene for a bit. | |

| They are just steelies which have been made to the wide size (not banded) so no worries of them being weak and ish. | |
