because the level of the new cars that are joining up are not what TOA is about in anyway shape or form!

It's nice to have your own image, but that's quite shitty outlook on it as a whole.
I know I've joined up with a near enough standard car, but I am saving for wheels and then for lowness, and I'm sure a lot of others are in the same boat as I. I'm sure the last thing you guys want is for people to go away from here thinking that the forum/club/whatever is full of dicks who think they're better than everyone, which will be the kinda thing that happens if it does go on as planned.

So basically people only get stickers if the management think that there car is good enough for them... isnt that a bit of a harsh idea?

I started saving to become a astronaut, put me down for a NASA sticker :p

But there has been so many comments saying how good the last meet was because of the huge turn out, if your gonna start being fussy with who can join your club then you will loose a lot of people.

Exactly - it is nice to have our own image, so for a sticker to be displayed on a car it must display the same image that TOA portrays.

SIMPLE.

The majority of the meets now are seeing some really really nice cars attending, also the majority of the peolpe that attend are probably aware that if we are being 'chosey' with the stickers that we have an image to uphold (as pretentous as that sounds) and im sure they understand that an 'inclomplete' car would be less deserviing than a car finished and perfected.

Everyone is welcome at the meets - but to represent TOA, thats a different matter. i think ezza has said it well

imo no particular style, just has to be clean and well executed

mate, who are we to stop people coming to socialise and share there pride and joy?

thats what makes the meets so special, the eclectic mix of cars and openness, makes for the good vibe

I get what you guys are about and it does make sense, if i had my own forum i would try and make it a place for like minded individuals. Look at some of the forums in the US!! You have to be invited to join!! Some would say its all about status and almost childish like "the cool kids in the playground". But the way i would see it is it cuts out the BS and leaves you with a member base that have litrally a stupidly good knowledge base to help fellow members. Builds take time which is probably why so many lose sight in there cars and move on or just leave them unfinished. Takes alot of dedication to finish a car to a very high standard.
