Cars ok running abit wierd atm like sluggish, asif its being strangled of air or something :S confusing me but will have a good look into this at the weekend. im just saving really so i can get new clutch, flywheel, 4.9fd, new bearings, and synchros so i can rebuild my box and fit new clutch all in one go rather than messing about twice. But need like a grand for everything i want!
also looking into a cage! but not sure man! ive got ideas in my head of how it would look but dunno wether to go through with it!

| Well havent posted up in a while as havent done much to the car but next week is gonna be a busy one. saturday im gonna start to take the gearbox out of the car so i can strip it down and have a look at the damage (yes im scared) but also scared of the price it would cost for someone else to do it! so once its stripped and i know which bearing has gone i will order a new one in right away and while im there im gonna order new Oring for the dizzy and a cam oil cap seal too to stop the leak. also gonna try to locate this battery. i will take lots of pictures to show the damage of the bearing and any other work i do (: | |

| yeah i will. all the shafts and gears and shifter forks all come off in one assembly anyway so shouldnt be too difficult and changing the bearing is like changing any other bearing. got the gf's trusty dad helping me anyway so will be all good (: wish i could put a 4.9 FD in there though but just aint got the cash atm so will get that done at a later date with new clutch and fly. Cus £380 is too much, i dont see how they can justify that much to change a bearing. but we will see how it goes (: | |

| mate i know, i think the main sting was sourc'ing the bearing, they said they couldent get one ffrom anywhere apart from honda and im sure it was sumat ridiculous + its not like he could of told them to foget it when his box was there in bits, labour wasnt that much from what i remmeber just the cost of the bearing. hope its not the same one thats gone for you | |

| ive got a price list of all the bearings in the box as i went to honda the other day to check. the most expensive bearing is £53 and thats the least common to go. the bearing im thinking has gone is £15 and the seal is £7, but we will see when its all apart.
im just hoping everything goes sweet :S

| well done for having the balls to do it yourself! doesnt look like it will cost alot for the parts then when my white eg's box went, everyone said it was to expensive to repair. although, it was the selector shaft/arm that had snapped, and synco on 2nd was a mess. the reason it snapped because of ramming it into 2nd with the fooked synco lol
i want to do the final drive in diff on the s2000 when i get one, best mod for the money apparently
