| engine dont move, i never knew about that bush stiffness rating thoe, less engine movement will help you put more power down but apart from comfort is there any other negative to harder rubber? ;P | |

| nah i wouldnt of thought so, like you say its to keep the engine solid whilst putting the power down so other than a rattly dash i dont think so! (: | |

| I wold agree, the engine being still means more precise gear changes, would probably reduce/kill wheel hop too, only downside being you will feel the engine through the car more, some people would find that a good thing, personally i like the race car feel so i cant wait | |

| Welldone for getting stuck in, its the only way you learn!
What have you done to teh engine, why did u take it apart?
Blue rocker looks good but its slightly understated in a engine bay of red bits

| Ohh, how did you do the big ends in?
You wont need to bake the rocker btw, i always just use normal primer paint and laquer and its always been fine.
Im not sure on coolant bud, best thing to do is fill it with water and keep a track of how much its taking then add the approprate amount of neat antifreeze.

Going round Orbital's having a play with the SIR ;-) Just ran it very, VERY low on oil and the inevitable happened. Standard Procedure - Top your shit up, just like you'd strap your shit up.
I think you'll agree ben that we need a TOA meet at the Orbitals
Glad to see more progress with it mate, and the 304 will sound the shit! cant wait to go for a spin in the rebuilt '9, compare it to when it was standard

| Its not worth it man, if you get had without all your propper shit youv had it, just wait man (i know im one to talk)
I also had the random 'ping ping ping' of a bolt or nut falling out the engine bay when i floored it for the first time, i shit myself lol. tbh i dropped a few nuts and bolts in the bay while i was putting it back together that i couldnt get back so i just got another lol
