I will be, if the interest is there speak to The Raceway in Birmingham to see if we could get a preferential rates / Corporate events style outing exclusively for us TOA members.
Maybe make a Sunday of it, all us lads go nuts on the track?? Who's the best driver??
At the moment this is what the prices look like, depending upon how many people we could get to come and what type of event - this price would potentially be reduced?
GRAND PRIX HEAT RACING
5 laps practice 4 heats of 4 laps 1 semi-final of 4 laps 7 lap final for top drivers £40 per driver
GP1
5 laps practice 5 heats of 4 laps 1 semi-final of 5 laps 10 laps final for top drivers £45 per driver
SUPERPRIX
5 laps practice 6 heats of 5 laps 1 semi-final of 6 laps 12 lap final for top drivers £50 per driver
At this stage I'm looking to see if there would be any interest? Don't worry I wont be asking for any money upfront simply pay when we get there but I would like to see how many people are interested in who is the best driver on TOA??
Should be a good laff if we can get around 15-20 of us all to come.
Let me know you thoughts guys??

Cannon Raceway - Tried & Tested. The event we did was class. 10 laps qualifying, then two 30 lap races. Really good!!! Twin Engine karts too.
Just had a look and they have revised the Endurance Race Events
For the keener driver who's got what it takes to handle the longer duration Endurance Race for up to 10 drivers. After a 15 Lap practice session up to 10 drivers race in a 100 lap race. This race is the tough one, so we give drivers a 10 minute break after the first 50 laps. Trophies are awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd driver Minimum Age: 14 years Session Time: Approx 2 hours
So to re-cap, It would be £45 Each 15 Laps - Practice Session (Qualifying Session) 100 Lap Race with a 10 minute break after the first 50 laps Thats 40 laps longer than the one we usually do. It will be a challenge, and i think it will be amaizng!!!! we all feel like it ends too early usually.
The person who books it drives for free as we all know. i think we should all pay £40.50p each, and the £45 that we save, Should be a little wager/prize
1st Place - £20 2nd Place -£15 3rd Place £10
Whats everyone feeling????

quick list of possible names, 1.dave_t 2.cus 3.ned 4.ezza 5.powellyeg 6.toajay? 7.markiboi? 8.tesh? 9.aky? 10.attley?
there will be more than enough people up for this i reckon. Think lets start a new dedicated thread for this event and put down a confirmed list and then talk about a definate date everyone can make

What you do is book the date and take a deposit in, and pay the rest when we get there for the event. as im car-less right now i cant pick up everyones cah etc... so i think if i set up the official thread, get a confirmed list and date, then at the march meet everyone pay up their deposit and i'll go and book it. I'll pass on the booking discount to everyone else so it will be the £40.50p each.[/u]

Official thread in the regular meets section. Weekends i think they hold events so may be tricky to get a booking. Uusally our best bet is a weekday evenning. Im open to any day but wednesday at the moment (college)

would it be worth having a chat with them to see if they could accomidate more drivers on this package??
see what the list says first...then deal with that problem later...or i can give them a call tomorow whilst at work see what they think..

Dave just had a chat with them they can only do 10 drivers at a time - £10 deposit then rest when arrive, so £100 up front and rest when we get there.
availability in March is good so any date once we are all agreed.
