| been looking into what coilovers to get, not wanting to spend a huge amount but want it to go low, and ride well. been speaking to mr mesiterR and they do a range called Zeta - S Superlow. The Zeta - 'S' having softer springs than the Zeta - R. The superlow's have a dual perch so you can lower your car without losing the travel in the suspension. here is some pics from cl with meisterR's on. quoted from cl "Here is a picture of how low you can DRIVE with it... and here is a picture of how low you can GO with it But as I have said before, even at the lowest setting the suspension will still remain full damper stroke travel.... However, the front bumper / chassis rail will probably stop the damper from moving before the bump stop if it is set on the lowest setting" "That's on 16" wheels, and i still have another inch to go down if i need too" ive asked questions on CL and done a bit of research and 2bf they sound like they are great for the money. NeilVtec (silver ek4 facelift on ek9 wheels) is selling his tein set-up for a set of them, and he does alot of track days. anyone heard anything negative about them? | |

| oh yeah, cus you douchebag, i was asking jerrick about what guarantee he offers with them, and told him about your koni's being knackered, and this is what he said
Hello David,
The Zeta-S SuperLow is on special at £549 delivered at the moment. They come with a 1 year warranty and covers for track usage also. The long as there are no physical damage from crashing your car... etc. Common sense really.
I am VERY Surprise that Koni are not replacing the dampers... There is a 1 year warranty with them also right? Are they classing it as "misuse" or something? I would expect the parts to be fix or dampers to be replace...
Let me know if you have any questions. Please let me know the outcome of your friends dampers also as I am interested to see how "big" company deal with customers/dealers.
Best Regards,
Jerrick
get off your lazy ass and get them replaced | |
