Is it just me or has the cost of car insurance gone through the roof?????

Im being quoted around £1200?? WTF!!!! and my renewal isnt any cheeper?? WTF!! is it just me??

Has any one else noticed that your car insurance has gone up??

i've spent days looking for the cheapist, try adrian flux and declare all modifications so it drops it more, also sky, but to be honest mate they rate it on where you live etc (not saying you live in a shithole lol) but if the cr crime has gone up a fair bit or somethin like that then it will shoot up in, but if you where to say you lived in the country side it would drop loads, see what i mean?

i hear it was going up this year, due to some reason or another

Adrian flux DROP the price when you tell them about mods?

ye just depends what it is, they only insure modified cars, on the teg i've declared tints,suspension,alloy wheels,air filter and exhaust, my insurance went up £10 from a 1.4 civic to an an import integra haha

il have to hit them up come renewal time

mines up in 2 months and i've had problems with old insurance policy's putting the price UP when it comes to renewal if you where with them previously, so we'll have to see, hope it doesnt tho because there the best insurance company i've been with.

also dont forget to wack as many people on your policy as you can that helps bring it down loads.

I pay 700£ for the rex with all the mods and some i dont have yet (roll cage...cost didnt go up and saves me 20£ admin charge lol)

putting loads of people on your prem isnt going to bring it down either, a select few can...Father, wife, someone in the family older with a good record.

another way is to look at who your with now via their website, do a quote and if its cheaper call them up and haggle, if they refuse then just end the policy and start a new one.

It has gone up.

On a personal note, I insure 3 cars and the price went up on all 3, and that was after shopping around and using my company's price match service!

Its still £120 a month dude i need to be paying around £50 - £80 p/m so im gunna shop around but if i dont find anything Dilo ill give u a shout.
