Right guys, looks like the R32 deal aint gonna happen as ive still not heard anything back. Although the insurance probably would of bent me over on it anyway.
So im on the lookout for a drift car. something big and jappy if you know what i mean.
Preferably to swap/px my ek for and preferably something thats not going to shaft me on insurance.
if you spot anything let me know

only thing is you may find it difficult to p/x or swap a civic for one on there as people moan about mine being n/a let alone being fwd, you may have some look if someone wants to get a more economical car though, decent driftable cars start at about 2.2k tbh

I don't see It as a "bandwagon" Most of us haven't been around drifting really, just 'admired' it from a far. Ezza getting one has shown just how sick boosted rwd Nissan fun can actually be, if that's a bandwagon - hell, I'm gona ride that shit till the wheels fall off

agree always admired, never experienced, going in the S body with ezza has deffo showed me what its all about, makes driving around flat out like normal feel boring its good to have a mix of cars and driving styles in the club now

I'd say that was more power-sliding than drifting. Wasn't very sideways, striaghtened up too quick, and naff all tyre smoke. Still, GT4s are very nice cars, and I was concidering getting one a while ago. Any news on yours yet Ned? Can't remember the last time I saw it?
And what's all this bandwagon shit? Drifting has been around for a very long time. But much like high end sports cars - a car suitable for drifting was not an affordable or suitable car for us until recently. A couple of people have seen that they can get a fun car which is capable of drifting, and done so, then a few other people may look at it and realise that they also are in a position where one can be a possibility. So who cares who wants to try it out? If it brings the club closer together and gives more variety, then what's the problem? some will stick with it, some will think that it isn't for them after all and move on. Maybe back to Honda
Aslong as it's Jap metal then it's all good! So let's stop this petty shit and enjoy our cars!
