d14 with d16 twin cam head??

my mate has got a civic gl 14 0n carbs does nebody know if the d16 dohc non vtec head will fit on the d14 block it looks like it could thanks

No single cam( sohc) D14 wont fit on a dohc... unless u are on about a d16z6 the 1.6 vtec... then yes that will work but not on carbzz...

but all im thinking is its still a d series the bottom ends on both d14 and d16 look exactly the same how sure are u powelly

maybe not worth the hassle so much easyier to just drop the d16a9 lump in altoghether.

i've never heard of this being done so i cant really say.
