ok here goes!
I brought this car back in may/june 1 owner from new "gerald" it has full honda history up to 72k i purchased it at 79k as its my first car i got talked into the honda scene "dom!" I wanted to clean it all up the usual coilovers nice wheels and go from there! firstly i started on ek9 carpet and mats
sorry about pic quality shitty iphone
then i wernt sure which way to turn either coilovers then wheels or other way so had to be coilovers nice guy on cl sold me new meister r's and lcas then the work began on seized bolts the usual as you all well know starting from a 17" nut working down to a 14" LMAO
ok then next week i purchased my rota track r's next day went to tyre company in walsall and got my toyo t1rs
then i thought ok now i have the red carpet itr recaros are next on my shopping list me and dom went over to tegiwa where i purchased itr seats and ek9 rears had some problems with these but wont go into detail anyways i returned them and got refunded and went over to manchester and brought some from a guy up there
then having the patience to basically take the fabric off the ek9 rears and transfer it onto my ej9 frames was so fustrating! but had to be done!
ok then my car was starting to put a smile on my face now heres a few pics as it was theres a couple more extras like wind deflectors type r grill
and a quick one from the toa
next was my front and rear lips i found brand new ones in notts for a good price so travelled there and plus my facelift rear lights...
ok ignore the tow hook! i sold it a while back now just didnt go!
then i brought new hubs all round " which was also a pain in the ass to do!!!"
And yes thats a joint in my brake line
so now i thought ok this is starting to make progress and as its my first car i was going to get the body work all cleaned up and carry on from there until one evening was watching videos on youtube on b series swaps into ej9's and how well the U.S do there shizzle! that weekend this happend!!!!
not bad for a saturdays afternoon! LOL ok so on the sunday we got down to buisness
all wrapped ready and now i was stuck for choice either a hot pink or a funky green! went down to halfords and dom suggested "New focus rs 2010 green" i thought why not here goes....
anyways after about 2/3 days after work layering paint on we had the finished piece
then got my ass on swapz LOL theres some serious soft people on there i know and i came across this cat D write off damage to the boot ! £500 aha i was laughing
the next weekend the work began again!!!
i havent got many pics of repainting the b18c4 but in the progress i changed the the flywheel to a 3.4kg fidanza and exedy stage 1 clutch kit anyways... i got my engine wiring loom from a guy in ireland who even traveled to northern ireland so id get next day
then! this happen!!!!
i then stole my bros rocker cover as i wernt too sure on my polished one brought my tegiwa 3 point strut brace and now we have this
I may of missed some parts off this build so far and yeah my spelling is pretty shit but o well LOL but still need my exhaust any 1? sale and my chip for my ecu which my bro is going to socket and sort out anyways thanks for reading up hope you enjoyed! Matt
