are you sure the plugs were burnt out because your running lean or could it be down to just having old plugs??
a lean running condition will usually leave the plugs looking a white/light browny colour.
it would be worth you investing in a wideband 02 sensor and guage to moniter your afr's.aem are a good quality kit for the price.plus they have the advantage of not needing open air calibrations, unlike the innovate lc1.
if you have a wideband you'll have peace of mind, and an instant lean/rich indication meaning you'll know something's wrong.it could save the engine.
attley,if you get stuck with anything, give me a shout.whether it be advice or if you need specific tools.

Yeah I wa dripping funds off lol, notice the stall too? Haha. Basically whilst driving yesterday it kept stalling everytime I came to junctions/let it idle. When I got back I had a quick look and noticed the intake pipes were loose so after some ninja manoeuvres I fitted it all back in nice and tight. Runs sweet now, just gotta keep taking it easy bedding the clutch in. New clutch feels good, pedal really light and feels quite snappy already. Just gotta book the zorst in again now, should be done for te next meet

the work began
the obismall exhaust thats blowing from around 8 places (how many different peices of pipe can you see? lol) unfortunately still on the car
the clutch! if you look carefully you may see the welds to the flywheel teeth (the ring with teeth cam off in the end, and flywheel had to be replaced due to all the cracks from the centre out) and old clutch was exedy (slipping)
as the engine bay sits now (needs a clean and polish)
the interior shot with my old dvd headunit in (cheers tesh)
the avcr all up and running (gotta love the retro-ness)
as it sits
ill get some pics of the parts i took off tomorrow, as they will be amusing to view

Ok so I'm now on 260 miles on te new clutch, all seems well. Slight judder when in reverse but apart from that it's gripping well, feels nice.
As I'm off now until after jae I got up an finally replaced the lower bolt that ben discovered was missing on te bottom of my coilover ( :/ ), also topped her up with some fresh mineral oil. Exhaust is booked in for Monday, then it's just cleaning and tidying up for the time being
