| Hi,
Rev it- Road and race is still quite obviously still Weston Performance under a new name which was owned by Paul Weston whom is now Bankrupt and has conned many many people out of there hard earned cash.
Its very easy to put the pieces together with the internet and the fact that his car is always at the work shop.
Use with extreme caution is all I can say

| He would have to be in name, as Paul Weston is Bankrupt. Trust me, he still has an interest. | |

| Hi Tim, welcome to TOA. TOA doesn't have much to do with Rev-it but I do know that Paul Weston has got nothing to do with it. The car you are talking about is probably his brothers Corvette and not Paul's. Thank you. Oh and please feel free to post in the newbie section and introduce yourself. | |

| Thanks ned, unfortunalty tim you are very much mistaken in regards to paul still running the place as the building is owned by someone else, we just have half the building with the dyno and a ramp among other things. Paul right now is in india (probably sulking) working and avoid those he owes money to, including myself. The corvette is his brothers. | |

| Ahh yeah I heard about Westons going under, was only a matter of time considering how they were treating people, from what I can remember they annoyed a lot of people within the jap scene with their interesting approach to customer service and extortionate pricing habits.
Their ex mapper is very highly regarded though but think he set his own place up mapping, he has a lot of involvement with the drift scene from what I hear from going to events. Him leaving was probably the final nail in the coffin.
Chris I’m sure being the new occupant of the building you are all too familiar with their reputation prior to their demise?

| knew about their reputation? i did 9 months with them, they were good to the staff unless it came to paying them but yea, paul used to mind rape people into large bills.
Urm all its a hi comp rover v8 lump, home made (quite shocking at the mo untill we fav up ali ones) headers, few others bits and a r33 back box cause it was way to loud. Its at the paintshop at the mo to.

| Yeah, wow, brave move then taking on the premises considering their rep, bet you have your work cut out to avoid being tarred with the same brush? Lol, yeah paying staff kind of comes under being good to them – says it all really. It seems for once rumours are true. Going on what people were saying last year and what was allegedly being charged for work and the pressure he put people under, the guy belongs in prison, never mind India.
I went to a rolling road day there a few years ago, the set up was impressive and they had a good dyno cell, but the more that guy spoke and tried to sell his wares, the less credible he sounded to me, he was a salesman, massively overpricing his services and exploiting people who put their trust and hard earned money in him. I kept this view to myself hence why I never went back, but future reports from people in the scene confirmed my suspicions. I think he was one business within the UK that the scene can do without, think India is probably just about far enough away from it.
Have you got the same dyno that was used by Westons? What management do you offer mapping on? And when are we going to see this Van, sounds very interesting!

| yea we have the dyno and cell, recently had it serviced and calibrated as under westons towrds the end it was a few bhp out on calculations as we found when a twingo suddenly gained a few to many ponies. currently doing shark systems on diesels, omex, hks and once my rex is up ill be doing the power fc range.
the vans just been finished painting so ill get a piccy sometime this week, been hella busy.

| I see, cool, do you offer a fitting service for new parts that customers can bring to you? I’ve had a look at your site, other than yourself, is there anyone else on the Revit team that used to be part of Westons? I mean anyone, including investors / partners? Cheers | |
