cant go full throttle

when going full throttle and highish rpm it will just jerk and carry on for around a second and then jerk again, only does this at full throttle, and by jerking i mean complete loss of power as like i wasnt accerlating at all

I was thinking it may be the oily spark plugs ??

same thing happend 2 me it was a wire from the ecu came out

Id check ignition (spark plugs, leads etc). has your ECU ever been removed? if so check all teh wires are in properly

well will change spark plugs and leads and also dizzy, should solve the prob

d16 i think (sohc vtec)

it sounds daft but i hear a lot of people having these symptoms on h22's and its down to low oil or a gunked up vtec solenoid so the vtec keeps switching between cam lobes due to low oil pressure. Not too clued up on the d16 though so it might not apply.

yeah d16z6, oil is always topped up and sometimes happens before vtec so may aswell change the solenoid, is there anywhere i can get a new one or rebuilt (if they do rebuild them) solenoid?

if it happens before vtec it wont be that, they usually just need cleaning out to be honest so whip it off and get all the gunk out.

try that ^, otherwise just get another soleniod from a random d16
