A day in the body shop!

Updates, the car has been all sealed up and painted today here are the pictures. We really put alot of effort into this it was a great effort by everyone involved and the outcome it fantastic. Just needs a flat and polish to get a deep mirror finish, paint the rest of the bits and bolt it all back together. More pictures tomorrow.

Hmm ill have to look into it, I dont think there is any other civic with that color.

Thanks for all the comments, would like to try and keep the color a secret for now, the color looks alot different in the pictures to in the flesh. Its more olivey/goldy when you see it. Anyway here are todays updates, we have painted most of the other parts now along with a few special details! Can start putting it back together tomorrow its looking great cant wait to get it to a few shows, as always comments welcome.

The boot is not a sticker, it has had the green base coat then Nelan painted on and the cleared over.

Sorry didnt get the the pictures up last night, but they are here now Sealed all the arches as well, never take a sun roof apart is my lesson of the day.

not sure about the 'nelan' thing, a sticker would have looked the same (both 'N's look identical) and been removable but im not hating, to each there own

The color is pretty special got to love fresh paint. We thought it would be good to have Nelans name somewhere on the car, its a bit of a surprise for the owners. If they dont like we can repaint it.

Okay so i had last week off work so wasnt there for the final bits and pieces, but now its finished and i popped in on Friday to see the finished result. I'm really impressed with the engine bay considering no engine or major parts were removed. It has all came together nicely and very happy with the outcome.

Yer i was quite impressed with the bay tbh i thought it would of been shit lol. Anyways the car is done and everyone is happy.

BUT MY EG IS UP FOR SALE

Cleaned up the Gemballa sorted the wheels on it, going tomorrow to have the turbos and electrics all sorted out. Also started on an old Alfa Romeo full respray.












By about 12 it was all stripped out and repairs were started car is quite rusty in a few places, but not bad considering the car is 41 years old.
