| So if i buy an MB6. What parts will i need?
I've got engine mounts but i'm more confused about what Engine loom/ECU i can use. If i was swapping it into my EK i'd use the p28 ECU from the Civic ESI. Should i still use this?
Cheers for any help,
Michael. | |

| Depends on what engines/obd the teg is. P28 in good, you might need obd conversion harness or rewiring few things.

| The teg came with a b18c1. Which is just the JDM/USDM version of the b18c4.
The b18c1 is 0BD2a, the b18c4 is OBD2b And the p28 is OBD1.
So would i just need to buy a OBD2b > OBD1 conversion harness and run the MB6 engine loom?

| Mb6 has obd2b sensors but the ECU side clips are obd1. P28 ECU fits straight in, I had one in my mb6. | |

Michael. the teg came with a B18C (non itr), any JDM engine hs a letter after the engine code, and no number, hence b18c. any non-jdm engine (ukdm/usdm etc) has a letter then a number after the engine code, hence B18C1 (USDM Dc2 GSR)

| I think you can identify the obd by the ecu plugs | |

| Yeah? Sweet.
So I just need an obd2 conversion harness?

| Nope, conversion harness is only needed if your ecu doesn't plug in. If your buying a complete mb6, you can use engine loom off that.

| Obd2 connectors on engine but ecu connectors are obd1. It's the only loom which is mixed. | |
