Honda paint

Im looking for red crackle paint in that red honda use on the rockers
for spraying up a few new parts that just fell in from the land of the jdm sun.

Any clues as the stuff i can get at halfords is shit in all fairness!

ive seen red hammerite used to good effect on HT but got no idea what the actual paint is

im sure tesh has just done his like this

maybe he'l post what he used with pics (hint hint )

how many cans did it take for that and did you use a primer or just that stuff?

Just the wrinkle stuff, but make sure the surface is clean, i used some white spirits with wire wool to clean it all up then washed it down, put vasaline on the lettering and in the holes (so when the paints dry u can wipe the vasaline off and leave the writing all shiney )

You must heat the can up so its pretty warm n shake it well.. for about 15 mins.. then i heated the rocker cover up with a hairdryer (making sure there was no dust about) Then gave it very light coats untill it starts building up it will only take one can to do a rocker cover but its worth ordering 2 as it takes some practice to get the real crackle affect..

Ive ordered some more to do mine on my EE9 as all the black paint is coming off

right ive ordered up 2 cans of red as the paints starting to flake badly now and and orbital polishing kit to as the paintwork after the winter is looking sh1t.
