| Annoyance of the day: When refitting my rocker cover after trying to install my race header (again for the 5th time) the damn bolt snapped on one! FFS! I've given up with the race header now the bolts are shit, made of cheese and not even a 5 foot breaker bar can free them. Fek it im buying an S-MX. | |

| Shit, i know a couple of people who had probs breaking there rocker studs with B series too. the head and stretching must weaken them.
Didnt realise you needed to get the roxker off to install header on a k.
SMX ftw btw | |

| did you try running up the engine to get it hot, so it could help free the bolts a bit?? | |

| i used a butaine blow torch for 10 minutes till they were glowing, im going to take the car to weston performance to see if they will do it. im thinking seriosley about a s-mx now, just a bit put off by the front seats and you can pick one up for about 2k | |

| hah i sold my xbox on ebay and made 50£ I've been thinking about the civic and im not going to let this bugger get to me untill im finished with it so with that in mind. On my next day off im replacing all the rocker cover bolts and gasket, getting it booked in to the garage for all the paintwork to be redone, ordering a bulk of paint to do the rocker cover, strutbrace ends, tie bar, taking a dremel to the plastic cover over the inlet, booking it into weston for the header to be fitted and if i have any cash left over i'll order a cf bonnet. Take that ya bitch ep3! | |

| Decided on the colour of the parts and rocker will be bronze to match the wheels and while im at it the rear tie bar will get the same treatment to. Oh and the inside of my k20 looks like this And the now ported and cleaned up header that WILL be fitted! The supposed gains are 12bhp and that was before i did all that work, so it should actually live up to the claim. | |

| yes!
looking good, its these little details that make the big difference. looks more like metalic orange than bronze but looks good none the less, u can call the colour what you want, either way it will look good against the black of the car.
nice work | |

| my mothers from essex, seems quite fitting that she said it looked like a spray tan when i showed her I think its a bit orangy due to the metallic mix, i love it! While i think about it, Calipers Silver or this bronze/orange? | |

| just an update: Replaced wheel volts for black tuner ones. Replaced all the rocker cover gaskets, rubber rings and fixings. Ordered some heavy duty draper nut splitters for the header. Ordered new bolts and metal shim for header. Wrapped header in heatwrap. Removed strut braces, fluid brackets, air filter, battery tie bar, rear brace and prepped them all for colour. Drawn up plans for C pillar brace and double din facia. Ordering OEM VIS carbonfiber bonnet to The xbox can wait a month more i think. Also no longer working at the solihull halfords as im moving to the sutton coldfield branch in a week so i can get my groove on up there! | |
