| Mate, it looks great. Didn't want to like the Rotas, and i don't. But i admit they look fantastic. Also, that TOA light sculpture picture is my new background! | |

| I know I've bad mouthed the whole "rat look" thing before, but I've got to admit, this is savage!! I actually love the rusted hood!!
And at the risk of getting lynched, I quite like the look of the Rota's!

| Well i didnt want to start doing any performance mods but it looks like im forced too!
Its started kicking out alot of blue smoke especially on start up which indicates the valve seals need replacing and smokes a bit more than it should when driving which indicates piston rings need replacing.
Now id be stuped not to replace some stuff while iv got it apart so iv been thinking, should i drop the B18 bottom end in for a poor mans type R (maybe get higher comp pistons for it) or just replace the existing 16 pistons for high comp ones and high comp valves when i fit the new seals? but then do i go the whole hog and get b16b rods and new bearings to be sure it can take the higher comp and save up for a sick tune??
god damn it, im getting exited about something i wasnt going to do!!!
still got some more research to do but i think il stick with the 16, other wise the dc2 project is pretty much out the window.

| Anything that can go on the lappy lol id appriciate it geeze.
The gaps on the end of the spark plug, they will be set at a default and myne were out about 1mm - the bigger the gap - the weaker the spark. If u gta haynes handy will tell you in there.

| Try Lucas Oil Stabilizer, helps with smoking if you dont want to rebuild the engine. If your engine is differnt to a EK4, then spark plug gap might be abit off, otherwise just get some pre-gapped for a EK4. You should change ya fuel filter if it aint been changed for a while aswell, and deffo clean or re-new air filter for added vtec scream Get the Teg on road ez, wanna see that thing moooooove | |

| cheers, il give the air filter a wash.
Il look into a cheapish inline washable fuel filter too.
once iv sorted these bits and bobs out im backing the teg again
