| Engines now sat out on the bench, had the snake eye camera out to look into the chambers, one apex seal on the rear rotor has cracked due to debris from something, thankfully it looks like the chamber walls didnt get raped and the turbos are untouched! Plans are as follows and hopefully completed before JAE. Full mazda water and oil seals, 3mm apex seals and uprated corner springs and seals, polished chambers, chemical cleaned engine block and painted (dynorod orange and gloss black, single turbo upgrade, no rats nest, no air con pump, masssive greddy fmic and a fully cleaned up engine bay. I have pics ill stick on very soon of the stripped motor and the damage. | |

| Your lack of faith saddens me, i know of several high power fd's in the midlands built with the same kit im going for and they are tracked/dragged and drifted, not one broken engine. | |

| Yea well, i dont think i'll ever have a fast car with pistons in it for a long time Race deffuser with vortex generators have been purchased, im going to spray up and fit the wangan spoiler after seeing one on a rex today and getting rather hot under the collar and a friend of mine just text about a single turb kit going for sale. Oh and the engine strip down starts tomorrow | |

| Well the engines stripped down, found it chipped a tip and thankfully it was small enough to not damage the housings. Going to need a full water seal kit, shaft bearings and its going to have stronger corner seals, tips and springs to cope with..... 500bhp. Yes, Im going garret t04r, tial wastegate with screamer, greddy fmic and a very hush hush top secret port on the housings. Pics are on the link below. https://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2065237&id=1462190200&ref=mfOh and ned...think back to the rx you saw last week and your pritty much there LOL. The best news...it will be done and run in by jae! | |

| Suppose i better do an update lol. The turbo has landed, its a hybrid between Precisions T77 and a Garret with Larger blades, Pro spec TurboTechnics wastegate and no BOV (for that woop woop noise) 4" downpipe outlet and was comfortably running on another rx7 at 540bhp on 98ron street fuel. The engine is away being ported out and built with some spec thats 'hush hush' kinda cross between a street port and a power port for drag racing. the result should result in a rev happy mega responsive track weapon for the road. Exterior wise i have fitted carbon fiber light covers as the old ones were broken. Inside i have stripped out everything from behind the front seats, installed a bunch of HKS gauges (oil pressure, temp, boost, EGT, water temp) and a panasonic 6.5" touch screen system that will have a bullet cam at either end of the car. The gauges will be mounted into the dash and the boost controller moved into the center vent out of my way. New rx7 99spec carbon fiber seats are on route and the diffuser to. Next up is to polish up the turbo, fit the gauges, paint the roof, roll the front arches, lower the car, fit diffuser and seats and that it untill the engine comes back. Oh and my track tires....
