my first build thread,hope you like

hi there people.
got my civic 1.4 the end of december,it was completely standard when i got it.got alot of plans for it but gotta save up the pennys.

here are a couple of pics of how i got it.



i then managed to get some coilovers and some wheels.

coilovers fitted,


and wheels fitted,


i have just brought some fogs and a square number plate.which i think look quite nice,


next plans are smooth out the black bump strips in the bumpers and a change of wheels when i can afford some new ones or if someone wants to swap for some jdm style wheels.

anyway,hope you like and feel free to give me some ideas for future plans.a change of engine will happen eventually but not for a while.cheers guys

i reckon JDM sized plate would look better than the bike one atm and imo keep the bump strips, throw a SiR lip on and it would look real nice

i cant make my mind up wether to keep the bump strips or smooth them out,i like both looks.but defo getting a sir lip.

got a short shift now aswell

does anyone now of any yellow fogs going cheap as mine have some how cracked and one doesnt want to work now.

If you're keeping the bump-strips, make sure you use vinyl and rubber care on them to keep them a deep glossy black, otherwise they look weathers and dull.

i think im gonna smooth them out and just keep the side strip and maybe paint it white.

does anyone know anywhere that would paint my bumpers when there ready to paint?

you could just use coupe bumpers save the risk of any filler cracking

i think thats what im gonna do cus,been looking at some pics of civics like mine and the bump strips go nice with the sir lip,just need some better wheels.

were is the best place to get new bump trips from as the previous owner has give mine a right scuffin.

which one's is it that you need? i got a few in my shed you can have.

Need fronts and backs really mate,previous owner has made a mess of them.

think i may only have the fronts i'll check, you can have them at the next meet or whatever.

not made much progress on my car yet,
removed the fogs and am waiting for my bumpers to be resprayed atm,
but got my other toy out from its winter break so took a pic or 2,

Cus - its a suzuki gsxr 600 dude,scares the crap out of me sometimes lol,
I always said that but when I actually started riding I stopped thinking it and just ride. sensibly(sort of hahaa) I might be coming to the march meet on it if the wethers half decent.

Do many other people on here have motorbikes?

has it been sprayed a different colour? there not like that standard are they or is it the old one im on about? (blue,white an orange)

yeah pallet and his mate ride, they have been to the meets on there's before.

ye its been sprayed black with glitter flake in it,was yellow and black to start with.
