| Bad accident there from what I've heard a jag was ragging it and hit some ice from the standing water that comes off the biffa site span out and went straight into a blue 106 and another car killed the jag passenger at the scene 5 left in theatre and another one is said to be dead! Everyone was saying it was the two young lads racing but it's came out that apparently they weren't and it was the jag at fault like | |

| Yep, happened on sunday night. I got a call about a bad accident, so thought i'd go take a look as i was close by. Didnt expect how bad it actually was, and especially it to be two of my mates.
Got to the scene and i had to be told who it was, thats how unreckonisable the car was.
My friends Alex and josh were in a red clio 16v, they had just came off the cat island heading towards the biffa island, and a 106 was not too far behind.
A jag was coming the opposite way, from the biffa island towards the cat island, and lost it under braking (anyone that knows the orbitals, at the end of the straight in the 'braking zone' theres a slight bend and 9 times out of 10 standing water)
The jag got sideways under braking, flew accros the central reservation and alex basically t-bonned the jag, and hit the 106. I doubt they even saw it coming.
The passenger in the jag died, as it hit the passenger side. The driver is in hospital. Alex and josh were stuck in the car for nearly an hour while they cut them out. pretty bad to watch..... Josh's arm and hand was pretty bad (not lost it though) hes had surgery now, and alex has has some surgery on his face i believe. Both are going to be ok, on the road to recovery. Not too sure on the people in the 106, they went to hospital for treatment.
The jag was flying about all night apparently, and was full of his mates for most of it. luckilly it wasnt when the accident happened.
If there was a barrier on the central reservation, this wouldnt of happened.

| Shit! well its good news ur mates have recovered, what was a jag doing there anyway? what kind of jag?
This kind of thing makes you think in future man, lucky it wasnt one of us, not that its not a sad day for the friends and family of the passenger of the jag, and just think the driver of the jag has to live the rest of his life knowing he willingly or unwillingly took the life of his friend...

| Quite sobering realy isnt it. just goes to show, its not your driving that can effect you but others around you.
someone said it was an x type but wouldnt be suprised if it was an s type, rwd. easilly would of kicked out where you have to brake, especially if he was engine braking. its the fastest stretch up the orbitals, and the braking area is skethcy. like i said, always standing water there and its on a slight right handed bend. can imagine how he braked, back kicked out, and the rest is history. must of happened so fast
