| I got rid of it all already, plenty of dumpvavles and random oem intercoolers and rads, rear diff for a scooby, few exhausts and alloys for random stuff. | |

| Evening, just thought i'd let you know of the progress.... Picked up the engine casing yesterday, Internals have been ported out massivly, inlet throttle bodies are ported to match the engine and turbo, air inlet throttle body has been bored to let in TWICE the amount of air then stock and the restrictive butterflies and throttle heating are gone. Before: After: Before: After: Other then that i've finished fitting the pods, dished steering wheel, oil catch can, heat guarded most of the firewall, master cylinder, did a little relay and wire tuck down the front, fitted the rear diffuser and sprayed up the bumper and spoiler, wound the coilovers down at the back another 1cm, removed all the audio (wont need it let alone hear it) removed the rear window tint, sprayed the inside exposed bodywork in satin black and overly chav torqueflow decal. Its pritty much there on the outside now just need to paint the roof. Inside ive got new mazdaspeed seats to fit, blank off the double din hole and mount the commander and boost controller in it and then its all the engine work to do, Order the race spec internals, put it all together, mount the turbo, install all new braided lines to brakes and clutch, fit greddy intercooler in the front, rad behind with two large fans on both and possibly a small one on each of the coilovers, drop the engine into its new solid drag spec mounts, new exhaust downpipe, screamer pipe to exit into the drivers side air vent (stealth from cops .. if thats possible) then its onto the tune and an output of 400 to 500 bhp. Now... i need a job to fund this rotary rocket bunny. | |

| So the ball is once again rolling since i got some temp work here in Thetford and i've ordered a bunch of bits: Engine internals - secret spec so no more rebuilds 1000cc Secondary Injectors Bosch 044 fuel pump 2Ltr Fuel Swirl pot Im also looking into a paddle clutch as the stock one is only good to 350ish bhp and the lighter fly i have will suit a 6puck or something and maybe a different set of alloys with an offset of et10 to fill the arches better then the advans. That is all. | |

| You cant build and engine like this because your not the jdmstig (driving a fekkin golf) and you respect your bank account a bit more then me?
Moving forward its going to be all about the engine, clutch, gearbox, diff (its a 2 way lsd but the casings get weak over 500bhp so that will neeed bracing, the engine will be tuned by me a little and then ramped up by someone who i've worked with before that will get the most out of it but anything between 500, 600 bhp is the aim.
Garage news : Waiting for the building owners to come back with a price and a plan and then im golden. | |

| The block has been ported to a semi brapping level, good for racing but can also be driven round town, the clutch might not though depending on what stage i go for. | |

| Right.... little update, ill be making a build page on the website of rev it for this as its going to be a good un. In a nut shell im spunking 5k on the rx7 to get it ready for jae and next year its going racing. All the bits have been ordered for the engine, japan got hit so hard it called australia for backup. brakes, pads, braided brake and clutch lines, bride seat rail (not sure on seat yet) and a few other bits are paid for and on the way. 500bhp or bust! | |
