car mopping anyone?

when i did my old sedan it came out mint after cutting it back with G4 but there was still swirls after it, all i did was mop some polish into it with the soft pad, and then waxed it after that and they came out.

have you mopped it with cutting compound on a hard pad? thats what i did, it what motion your goin in aswell, from side to side slowly but not to the point where you gonna be on the same spot, always keep it moving.

just watch some videos on youtube aswell on how to's, there is also a site that tells you all the tricks and tip for all that kinda stuff but i cant remmember for the life of me what it is, google valeting tips or sumat think thats how i found it.

detailingworld is a great site for info, getting gloss back into the paint doesnt require that much exposure though really, a few light passes brings colour/gloss/shine back its trying to remove RDS and swirls that takes all the time up. Ill have a look at some of those videos aswell

i started on my sedan at about 10:30am and finshed it by about 7:30pm looked shiny as fug, no swirls and felt smooth as paper!!

i might go for this before jae cus, just givin my bonnet a quick t-cut made the world of difference so cant imagine whata good mop would do

I was thinking about this, just before JAE we should have a big mop session so all the cars are MINT!! anf get some of that blue tape shit to protect them on the journey there

mate, the paint on the bonnet and roof is shagged. oxydised (sp) and shit

look at the state of that corsa i did, i bet yours comes back! honestly it will come up nice.
