New rims are now on, my god is my ek looooow Exhaust catching in the most stupid places lol

Anyways, developed a bit of a problem.

My drivers side front has started a whirring sort of noise which gets quicker as i speed up. It doesnt sound like a bad wheel bearing or a driveshaft bearing (both been heard on youtube). Wonder what it is ? :/ im going to jack her up and spin the wheel to see where it may be coming from

Anyone got any spacers i can try/buy from them? let me know asap..

if its a knock wine it might be your cv joint, if its only started to happen with new wheels then somethin might be catchin!

Yeah seems odd it's started when you fitted the wheels. I'd check it all round if I were you

Well i just had a quick check at that wheel and compared it with the other side, seems like the drivers side ally wheel hub is a bit nearer to the caliper so it may be catching there, spacers may be needed before Saturday (BDC Round 1). Tomorrow i'll jack that side up and spin the wheel to see if i can hear where the noise is coming from.

Fastcar in bloxwich used to sell spacers, not sure if they do now but they were cheap shit anyway. Just thought if you need them fast may be worth a try.

Thanks Pallet for the heads up on where to get spacers quickly. Looks like i dont need them but it was a clearance issue. My caliper was just slightly touching the alloy wheel hub part so a quick file down and the noise has gone, Happy days

they different offset wheels then? I mean if the one side doesn't hit the caliper and the other side does?

Yeah may well be, never though of that as the alloys do not have the offset printed (been painted over by looks of it). Only caught the caliper very slightly.
