| few pics then started getting crazy ideas my 1st port of call was the eurou kit, then i went abit mad on choosing the right spoiler etc etc.... i had originally decided to go for the oem wrc rear wing in full carbon then i changed my mind, many hours and photoshops later i came up with ideas then came the idea to convert it to rwd rather than 4wd i know a few subaru impreza guys have done the same simple way of welding the diff up and removing the front drive shafts with no problems, and then i changed my mind and stopped that mad idea, then i went off the kit when i saw a loverly combination of eurou front/trd skirts/trd rear spats/hiro rear wing so then i wanted that everything was in place then i changed my mind and scrapped that when i saw a varis kit lol heres the photoshop i did with wide arches that i fancied then i wanted that i got that genuine item too which is over 2k from japan then i changed my mind on the hiro spoiler and wanted just the lower duck boot spoiler that the varis extremor gt4 has then i wanted a trd spoiler with carbon blade that was up for grabs....... then i changed my mind completely and sold everything off. lol | |

| then i decided that 99 percent of gt4s you see have oem or trd skirts or spats and that one completely unkitted with 0 holes in the sills is a rare sight so then the idea to kit it was gone, so then i decided the rays needed to come off for a refurb and sprayed, and i bought some standard 3 spokes in gloss black with a **** paintjob but they had 4 good eagle f1's the plan was to get the rays done in antheracite and get new toyo proxy 4s on and then use the 3 spokes as track rims and get them done in hot pink. in the meantime i blanked my headunit off and disaster once struck again with 0 work off the road the gt4 went with many ideas about swapping the car or breaking it for parts because i never saw the light at the end of the tunnel and had had enough with everything and being gutted about the reliability and costs to own it, it broke my heart to think about saying good bye, i then set my heart on getting a civic ek9 type r in the quest for a car i could enjoy and actually drive more than a quarter of the year. then i sold my rays engineering alloys that i did not want to sell cause they were on the car when it came from japan and i loved the sentimental value, but needed the money then a few weeks back we had awesome news and the project kick started once agen, and the decision still is no kit, then i decided all the stickers had to go, and then rt-performance started selling the carbon top piece spoiler so i got mine. this was the look i was heading for taking inspiration from some of the evos and scoobys that have been featured of late in mags, apart from i really am wearing no kit at all not even oem | |

| also the plans were and still are ,to get rid of the aerial as the systems now gone and for a fuel cap like this, going to involve a nice amount of welding also ive had a new idea which i wont share. and one of my good mates is now bashing out carbon parts so i will be wearing doors and front wings late in the year. | |

| little update, sold the full carbon wrc spoiler, for ages i kept debating about drilling holes in the carbon boot and wheather id regret it since id seen all this california styling as i think spoilerless looks cool anyway, so now theres no choice now i dont have the spoiler, its going spoilerless youll recognise these on toms car, these were another reason for the spoiler going as the wheelchoice for my gt4 is pretty lame so when i saw they were 5x100 i had to have them and hopefully theyll be in my possession after the japshow hoping mine will stance nicely, youll have to excuse me im not into all this stancing buisness so this is all new. have to see about how much arch pull is needed etc.... get it sat right this month because the cars having a full respray at my mates bodyshop in june in the r33 metalic midnight purple I, chose this colour because it was a safe bet subtle at night nice on a good day. hoping for next month it wont even look the same car with all the custom little touches that im having done that dont stand out untill you look close. also my pal with the white glanza with the rising sun is going to do a rwd conversion, expecting teething problems when i go the budget way of remove the front driveshafts and weld the centre diff and finding out wheather we can use supra parts etc.... will only find out what isnt strong enough to handle the power after because its a little unknown, but the scooby boys do it so well see. also on the lookout for decent bucket seats and harnesses after it comes out the paint shop, i really want brides with takata harnesses even if i have to wait that bit longer to get them at the right price, depends what seats come avalible and takes my fancy. | |
