| Well ned picked up the shuttle yesterday in all its working glory, unfortunately i couldn't get a power figure as its to low to fit on my dyno rollers! Got 2 miles down the road and split a rad pipe so after a failed attempt from halfords the shuttle now wears a bit of fd3s in the engine bay lol! | |

| Why did it split a rad pipe? it cracked the rad before. i think ned blocked the overflow, could that be causing a prob? | |

| No cus, everything is right. the car has been overheating for a very long time (ever since I did the head swap) Timing can make a car overheat. This has put stress on the already old rad pipes. Because I had just got it back I had to try it while giving chris a lift back home so it was being cained. The pipe hadden't split, there was just a tiny pin hole. Old age and overstressed recently thats all. The car runs very well now just a shame I couldn't get a bhp figure but it keeps with my GF's Twingo GT which is a hell of a lot lighter and over 90 odd bhp (not bad for a 1.4 auto). | |

| Yea i looked at the insides of the broken rad pipe, was perished in quite a few places so it was only a matter of time. Nice to hear its running well and chasing french shopping trolleys now, wonder if the autobox could handle a low comp turbo? | |

| Vtec, I has none The buddyclub controller isn't sending any voltage to the solinoid to engage vtec basicly. Only got a terrible 83.1bhp at the flywheel (feels like ive been raped) so all the work and (in the words of cus) horsing around i'ts making less power than standard. | |

| so lets take the BC out and rewire, replace solinoid?? any way of adding extra power to the BC or any way to confirm theres power going in to the solinoid? | |
