| Good progress dude. Love the rat wheels too lol You going to get your crank balanced too? Would seriously help the running of the engine with all balanced internals and lighter flywheel. | |

| Hmmm, i thought about this but i need to draw the line somewhere otherwise im going to spend £££££ doing things tht may not necasarily need changing.
Bit more progress today before the gay early darkness and rain stopped me.
Engine is free of loom labeled and driveshafts are off, also unbolted the shifter assembly from the car so i can get the bitch pin out easier.
Just need to get the middle shaft off out the way then throw the sumpo back on, then its ready to drop on the floor, will slide from under the car easily with no head.

| Wrapped it up for the night, engines ready to drop down now, just need to get/borrow a deep 17mm socket. When i took the vibration mounts off the engine rocked back, the rear mount wasnt doing anything atall, the rubber has all broken, which might explain the slight gear crunch (aswell as the gone clutch). another thing to fix but another way in which it will be better wen shes back on road, also have a short shifter on the way, and a couple of blingy bits from pwjdm. looks like after everything the enkei dream might have to come to an end, unless i do something completely drastic/ custom and expensive to get them on there its looking like i wont be able to, iv exhuasted every possible way. well atleast after all this the car feels like its mine and not dave's. | |

| adapters are no good, wont work, was going to sell up but now im going to take them to an aluminium fabs and get the holes filled and the recesses in the back of the wheel so its just a blank wheel, then simply get them drilled to 4x100.
Been doing some reading up on it and alot of people have done it, people with big ass american trucks that weigh alot more than a civic, so i will be fine.

| Im actually thinkin about throwin the veils on the teg...... Got the engine out today (on my own), split the gb off and dragged it all in the garage, Got the clutch off, it was completely slick, lol, then dropped the flywheel off (godamn heavy). Jay dropped my engine stand back round and then we could throw the block on (after grinding the shit out of the stand to accept shorter bolts). This being the first time iv fully dismantled an engine i wasnt sure how the crank came off, but after removing the crank end caps and persueding them off with a hammer the crank dropped out nicely, doesnt look to bad but its probably hard to tell without proper equipment. Just spent a little while cleaning the engine inside and out: Also gunna need new mounts there all fucked. btw thanks to cus, jay, and jay for helping today | |
