Well some sad news for the old EG its just too costly to insure atm for me so its in indefinate storage for now till the insurance isnt silly prices! Have considered selling up but it would kill me! So the plan for now is just to get a cheap civic or starlet or something to run around in for a while.

Its not exactly the update i was hoping for either! I was getting depressed so pulled it out of hiding for a couple of pictures looks so good!!

UPDATE

As the car stands im not very happy with it, i had to rush the last few bits and pieces. The car is not to a standard i'm very happy with. So i decided while its still off the road i need to sort it out. The body work is okay, just needs a good flat and polish. Its all the mechanicals i need to focus on.

Here is a rough spec:

B16 rebuilt head
New cams
Aem Tru Time Cam Gears
Arp Rod Bolts
Maybe new pistons and rods
Rebuilt bottom end
Golden Eagle Vtec Conversion kit
New oil pumpe, water pump and timing belt

Few other bits but you get the idea, im hoping for over 200bhp

Last night i decided to do a rough spec list, aiming for 200bhp+ on this build.

Top End:

B16A2 Head
Cams Of Some Sort
Aem Tru Time Cam Gears
New Springs & Retainers
Rebuild Head With New Seals, Gaskets ETC

Bottom End:

B20B3 Rebuilt Bottom End (Bearings & Seals etc)
New Pistons
New Rods
ARP Rod Bolts
OEM ITR Oil Pump
OEM ITR Water Pump
OEM ITR Timing Belt Kit

Intake:

Skunk2/Edelbrock Victor X
New Throttle Body
Tenzo Long Arm
Injectors H22?
FPR + Gauge

Gearbox:

S9B LSD Box With Y21 Internals ITR Final Drive
Full Rebuild
New Clutch & Flywheel

Exhaust:

Somtehing 3 Inch

Think thats about it for now, any advice on this is welcome. First engine build!

Gsr/c4 cams give good torque gains.
Arp head bolts.
Oil cooler

Should be easily over 200bhp

Tesh is selling a edelbrock performer-x but for a gsr head.

200WHP Sound nice,

I plan to complete my Build now, in spare time I may have, also looking at 200whp I made 195whp on a base map last time but never got round to finishing the required work.

Yer there is a few bits a pieces that will change in time on my list. I saw the for sale thread shame its for a B18 head tho.

Cheers mate, yer i want something that will be able to show most cars up. The more i think about it the more track orientated im going with it.
