| jus standard shocks with better springs only lowered 35mm now i hated the ebay coils they were ok at first but with that 2.2 it just hit the floor when the engine was put in. yeh ezza warned me bout them ksports then i looked on hondatech and every1 said they were rubbish so didn wana waist the money on sumthin that was only gonna last a year. p.s i had the car bak for few days jus 2 change the springs and to test if anythin was wrong. after me and ezza had few go's in it we came to the conclusion that the vtec wasn even kikin in and it was fast as it was so dunno what 2 expect with vtec. but yeh 1 week of uni left i aint been out at all constantly clokin my work cant wait for summer break man these are the longest seven days of my life ever. | |

| Another update. Bargain Madness Found a bargain full EK9 interior came up to 100 pound all together. Delivery was free as my bro works for city link i am now privileged to get anythin in the UK piked up for free Iv got every panel from within the car apart from the dashboard (airbag smashed it up) Bare in mind iv been after these doorcards since iv had my car but they were always a rip off. Me, ezza and howard went chippy other day and had nowhere to put the drinks well what do u know problem solved. (lol for the people in front anyways) Can finally get rid of that nasty purple sprayed gear gaiter handbrake section very lightweight compared to the next one. Considering iv seen loads of these sell for minimum 40 pound i got mine for 5 pound weighs alot more that the type r one but i dont care. i know its grey not black but ill just take it to work and spray it up on my break. thats all for now Was at inline other day took a random pik | |

| Well i have neglected this car long enough last post 2008 ^, it was my own fault as I kept messing with my EG and then I purchased Dave_T DC2 and i then kept on messing with that, I have decided im happy with the DC2 now as it is now as a daily and ill never really be able to move on with cars in life unless this EK is finished. The car has been tuned at Garage 786, it made 197whp, and i have been told she will go alot more but my intake and exhaust setup needs work. Anyways im going to keep this thread simple and please everyone if at anypoint I stop working on this car feel free to bitch slap me for a wake up call! The neglected baby! I have had issues with the current Y21 gearbox, it make a constant grinding noise, research suggest its the input shaft bearing, i could not be bothered to mess around so I went on the hunt for a new gearbox with a budget I did not have and I did not want to spend loads on an S80 lucky for me KMP had just got an S4C from a B16 which he kindly let me test drive before purchase (Thanks Kendal) anyways I also found the S4C has better ratios and is a stronger gearbox than the Y21 so it will do me just fine. Standard practice for TOA, I have cleaned and sprayed the box ready for fitting one of these sunny weekends. The car is currently on axle stand on a gravel drive i dont feel comfortable underneath it, so while my wheels are begin refurbed I have decided I may aswell put the interior back together. These are going to City powder coaters tomorow, same colour ect just strip and fresh coat of white again. Soon as the wheels are back, I will put the new gearbox on and just take it step by step wish me luck people im really going to need it this time. Just for the sake of it, thought id remind everyone of how she moved last time round Cheers all! | |
