| Okay so the todo list before the JAE deadline. Remove old turbos. Install new ones. Install new front lights. Secure Spoiler or fit D1 Spec carbonfiber one. Meg 3 stage paint clean, clay, polish, wax, seal. Full valet inside. Tidy up wiring hell in engine bay Flush coolant, replace with new and add water wetter. Flush oil, replace with fuchs reccomended stuff. Remove rear wiper. Spray orange side markers black. Paint calipers silver. Either remove cowling boost guage or Blitz boost (not sure yet) Install Power FC and Commander. Tune boost and fuel via laptop on road. Install new Blitz airfilters. Install BOV Reinstall tracker system. Do something about the rims. Remove paint from inlet plemum (that blue shit, yuk) Remove that POS ripspeed unit and fit double din. Sit back, shit my pants that i own an rx7 and enjoy my handy work. I'll be posting pics throughout the process and possibly videos of its first start. I can now work into the night as ive cleared a skip bigger then the civic worth of crap from the garage so now one side can house a car and the other side capable of ... well, heres a pic. | |

ep3 ftw! Because 7000 miles ago it went to Reworx and had a full rebuild using 3mm apex seals, some 700£ seal kit from the states oh and a street port and polish.

Depending on how its looked after, anywere from 35 to 80k, I've spoke to the folks who did the rebuild and seen the paperwork for £4000 of toys and work on the engine alone. Oh and i have a BGW to put on lol.

| Recovery trucks bring the rex home in 2 hours! The guy im getting it from has thrown in about 500£ worth of bits, Turbo timer, software for the Power Fc, spoiler, gearbox from a spirit R, air filters, bov and a few other bits. If i can get a buyer for the chrome rims then yea ezza ill take the Andrew racings off you, im hoping wheelmania will buy them, they love that bling crap. Pictures will be up later. | |

| Well its home. Spent two hours this morning cleaning it and found that under all the tree shit and dirt that the paintwork looks shit so as soon as the reconned turbos, power fc and sequential boost controllers are in then im going to get reckless on the body and prep it up ready for a fresh coat of brilliant black. The seats need much love so im thinking of getting some others in the future and im not to sure on what pod to use, i have a blitz one mounted on the a pillar and theres one mounted on the steering coweling. Just like this one. Along with that there's a bunch of smaller things i need to do, i might not be able to make it to jae in the rex unless i go crazy and forget to sleep. Think i may go out and buy a flood light now. | |

| Little update: Installed greddy boost gauge into re-amaya cowel pod, fixed headlights switch, removed spoiler ready for holes to be filled in, installed Apex-i power Fc and ran a basic map, relocated the gps tracker, fixed the speakers in the door, fixed the aerial connection, ate a bowl of chereos, removed the large blitz boost gauge, fixed rear fog light switch and relocated lights into bumper reverse light, removed rear wiper and routed the washer jet to the front (intercooler spray ftw) and hooked the magic tree air fresher on the mirror!
and that was from 8 this morning till now. Next up is getting the car to fire up on the fucked turbo and test the power fc reads all the paramerters correctly, install kph to mph chip, clean the hoooge exhaust and start stripping the engine ready for the new turbos.

| Well i had 4 hours of screaming at the central locking as it wouldnt work, only to find out that the battery had drained and there was only just enough power to light a single led let alone move an actuator, also had a tester to see how the quad lights would look in place of the pop ups. Pop ups win so im putting them back on tomorrow, ordered better bulbs for them to. Inside wise now im just going to tidy it up as much as i can for JAE and work on the engine and body, im going to prep all the body work, fill the holes in the boot and have it sprayed brillant black.
Oh and i detatched the broken turbo and started the car today and the noise was like an apache, was running mega rich due to the turbos though, only did it to test the powerfc.
Oh and im on the lookout for a red racing seat for the drivers side!

| You've been BUSY! Nicw work! Might be able to save you getting a respray... Have you tried the clay bar? Gets rid of 99% of the shit in the paint and restoes it to a mirror finish! Then polish and wax over to protect it. I've done it on all my cars, and it brings them up a treat. | |

| It was resprayed, badly, there are runs in the boot lid and holes from the oem spoiler and wiper that need filling, the doors got over spray, the front wings scratched because i dropped the inlet pipe on it, the only good bits are the front bumper, passenger side wing and the roof. And this is really getting my attention. | |

| Some pictures of what ive been getting up to... Removed that damn central locking solenoid, it just doesnt work. Plumbed in the greddy boost gauge. Painted the calipers silver. Removed the seats, cleaned the dash, carpets, rear seats and the fronts, fitted them back in, put the door cards back on properly, fixed the pocket lid in the drivers door. Tested how the carbonfiber spoiler i had laying around would look on the back, comments please. Also whats this set up? I cant find anything about the suspention on the car other then its Ohlins, not coilovers but the dampers look adjustable and the springs are blue. part number is CH-S010R-60 Not keen so im gonna get oem ones. Right im off to pick up my Advans! | |
