The seats in, so much better now i kept the oem sliding frame, rigged up some cross bars to extend the width needed, mounted the cobra side mounts, drilled up new holes and hey presto, my head no longer slaps the roof lining and my knees no longer battered!

Tomorrow im taking the missis to santapod so on wednesday i'll start work on the turbos again and get the bugger boosting like a trooper!

Right, sorted alot of things with the rex.
New earthing cables and added a couple more on the bulk, coils and ecu.
Removed the rear seats, belts and carpet.
Replaced all the vac pipes with reinforced 4mm ID piping.
Sold the 10" wide alloys i had kicking about.
Fixed the boost problem and wound it up to 1.2bar

Just going to put it all back together and take it for a drive.

Future plans:
Fab up some ali shields and ducts for filter and fmic, make my own switch able sleepy eye kit, either get new coilovers or refurb the ohlins and then go driftin!

Fo sho! I've had so many people asking for a passenger ride im tempted to charge LOL, The car park opposite halfords has many miles of rubber planted on it from the rears.
Should have the engine back in and running tomorrow as i took the top off to check all the pipes, broke a one way valve (currently waiting for the glue to set) and then i'll get a vid of it on full boost for once.

It wasnt, but i decided i dont need the air injection system to run unless its mot time so it can stay off, i have the part to fix it but that can wait till wednesday.
For now though the engine....IS COMPLETE!
Project Toretto. - Page 6 Th_18102009025
Bit of a shit vid but it runs smoothly, the street porting is only noticable if i drop the revs to idle @ 700rpm normally i have it at 750.
Boost... its there and there is lots of it! I'll have a video of that tomorrow, gonna do a fly by.
With the rear seats and carpets stripped out and the harness setup better it feels less cramped in there and more like a rx should be.
It likes to light up the rears in any gearwhen you nail it to, i love it.

Track and drift i think, need to get teh coilovers sorted so i can see how it is sideways and get better rubber for the rears as i drive it today in the wet and it was rather skittish.

i wouldnt judge it in the wet, cars like this are too risky to drive fast in the wet, untill u know it intimatley that is

haha, fair enough (although, theres nothing wrong with rubbing your crotch against the smooth lines of the rex, or even resting your penis on the headlight then turning them on and off........i mean you dont have to, just throwing that out there)

Y0!
Its been 2 months with not a peep but i has updates!

The Ohlins are dead, few weeks ago while getting the arse out the rear passenger shock collapsed into itself. still didnt stop me showing up a rover 45 with bling rims on the way home though.
A few days later i scored some ultra hot Racing Gear JTC N1 coilovers
but sadly they didnt fit so that was £300 down the pan.
However there is good news as now the car sits happily on a full set of
BC racing coilovers!

Also while i was out there today the pimp tint was ripped off and i found were the water leak was coming from in the boot so thats sorted.
Next up now is paintwork and im thinking Satin black top to bottom and Nato green lipped satin black rims, natro green calipers and totally flocking what evers left in the car once it does on a diet.
