| you could of saved yourself some cash, if you had done the paper clip trick it would of pointed to your o2 senser and revealed the problem with the car.... | |

| TBH cus I didnt take it to the auto mechanic in the end, I did the paper clip test and it just stayed on B4, just did a lot of reading.
Thankfully some one on CL suggested jacking it up and checking the O2 sensor at the back of the cat so i did and the wires were worn away so just lecy taped them up, reset the ECU ...sorted, however the car still feels a bit fragile to drive and tbh im scared of it cutting out like it did however just had a good run in it and it felt ok all the electrics are now working fine except the speedo, could be the VSS or the clocks...

| I ran my coupe without the 2nd o2 sensor plugged in for months and had none of the problems you did..
So i recon your problem might be back soon..

| Aky It was the wires going in to the sensor arching off the heat shield causing the fuse to blow, some of the plastic around the wires had stripped away. It will need replacing soon but I think this is a temp fix for now. I hope it dont come back ive been without a car for the last few weeks and im beginning to hate buses so much, I drove in to work today not a problem.
Im looking to B18c4 it when I get my bonus end of July, it should be ready for JAE.
