Proposed New Meet Location

id be up for a going tonight

im going to take some pictures of the places i said, i'll post up on here in a bit.

Ok so who's up for checking out Cannock tonight??

no your alright. got work to do at 9 too. plus im not a fan of cannock

1. This was the place by the houses, looks decent round the back but proberly a bit to quiet, police wouldent move us on from there tho.







2. This was round the back of pound land by halfords where tesh works, it quiet big and looks like the lighting would be decent there.




3. this was in tipton you will all know where it is, its really big would be good for pitures and the lighting here on at night is wicked, proper bright.






4. This spot it just of the trading estate where you go down and turn around to come back up on the dual carriage way, few little spots round there for good photos but lighting is poor.








5. Last of all think it would be the best of the lot and only just a bit further down from the meet spot, screw fix car park and the lighting looks good, not sure if its on at night tho i'll check it out at some point.





the two i like is the tipton massive car park and the screw fix just down from the meet spot.

what you guys think? there is more of course but had to come back for my sunday roast haha!

you've never been to the orbitals on a live night

not really on the car for racing mate, kinda grew out of that a year or so ago

theres loads of spots i know of but im just soo tired right now i cant think!

Ned - wasnt it pointless vtec'ing your shuttle then, if your not into pushing your car a little cause surely vtec cross over aint til 5000rpm....... just giving my two pence

Cannock is only good for the racing. no good spots for meets etc.

That first place looks like a good spot to me, that ones gets my vote

I did it to be differnt, you won't make more than 120ish bhp out of a dual carb 1400cc mini-me. plus add auto transmission...... hardly a fire snorting street racing machine is it?

you did it to be different? ok thats fine but how many shuttles do you see anyway? in my 23 years of life i think ive seen yours and that it, so its different anyway.
and 120hp is still more than the standard 90hp is it.

im not causing an argument im just stated that everyone goes quicker than they should, wether it be racing or on the motorway or windy back roads. or at least have once in their lifetime of driving.

i wont be racing anyting for a while lol, but its still good to sit back and watch the show

Tesco's or one of these as im gunna get the meet post out for Monday 2nd August @ 8.00pm??

I think its tesco for next meet then core member meet at a new location to try it out and go from there i believe

I'm not a core member but i recon tesco again just for ease and convience of people who dont come on the forum and only know the location because of word of mouth or previous turn up to a meet.

Then we can sort of move it over to new location a bit further down the line

Anyone know how long the rebuilds gonna take?

Im presuming Mondays as were used to meeting up on a Monday??

So we have the 9th, 16th or 23rd August for a TOA mini meet / Photshoot??

im down for whenever.

I can do any monday, but i wont be in the crx as its off the road but im still rolling jap, if you do want to go to my place then i dont want to meet at tescos as its like 10 miles from my house to come straight back the other way, everybody knows where cannock is anyway so we could just meet on cannock sainsburies/maccies/kfc and then go from there its like a two minute drive from any of those places.
