| So as the sun sets on the civic there is a whole new RWD turboey nissan'y dawn for me So here we go! She's a JDM S14 Silvia K's (not a 200sx) with about 52k on the clock, SR20det (2.0 turbo) with VTC (nissans vtec) on the intake cam. There are a few little problems to iron out but nothing too major then i can start work on getting her how i want. What needs doing (in no particular order); 1)-Theres a nocking noise coming from the rear when i go fromn coasting to accelorating and visa versa, i thought it was rear subframe bushes but turns out they are uprated ones so it has to be the diff mounts, I'l change those when i get the diff out to shim it ( http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=460306&highlight=shim+diff ). 2)-The front right wheel is sitting further back in the arch than the left, i am assured this is down to the toe adjustment rods, it drives true atm so theres no rush. 3)-It needs a drvers side handbrake cable 4)-Needs a new dash stereo surround, single din converter and a stereo. 5)-Needs new charge pipe silicone joiners and fasteners, 2 of them are leaking like mad and im told by sxoc that it wouldnt hurt to do the rest while im there save them failing on me further down the road (gives me an excuse to ditch the red too) 6)-Needs some of the rust taking care of (almost all of it around the rear drivers side quarter panel) 7)-Needs new turbo>mani gasket (blows for about 2 seconds on startup) I think before i go on to slamming it and rims im going to get it right first so il sort all this stuff out then get busy with stance etc Things its come with; 1)-R32 GTR turbo 2)-Braided oil lines 3)-FMIC (not sure on the make yet) 4)-HKS super massive huge drain pipe exhaust 5)-lowering springs (they'l do for now) 6)-Greddy Profec E-01 boost controller 7)-Blitz FATT (full auto turbo timer) -grooved discs front and back with yellow pads (yellow stuff) 9)-polished charge pipes 10)-adjustable toe rods 11)-350Z rims with some seriously grippy tyres 12)-Stainless tubular exhaust mani (not sure on the make) 13)-Blitz super sound BOV (not fitted, and from what iv been reading il keep it off, dumping to atmosphere doesnt do the car any good, messes with fuel and makes lag between gear changes, il fit it if and when i get it mapped and its needed) | |

| She's on 18's atm dude, its a pretty standard size for s14's drifting or gripping.
Not sure on the power, id say somewhere just under 250, it gets up as it is and it can hardly hold more than 0.5bar with the big ass leak

| Today Mr Ned took me to get the wheels, the lips are a bit more battered than i thought but there not THAT bad, they'l do until i get some deeper ones anyway. On the way back we stopped off at chris's (darkness) and he kindly sorted me out some nice bits and bobs for a price i cant disclose :p the wheels and some of the goodies and a quick look see: After getting back, chris, ned and i started at sorting out these boost leaks with some new hose (curtesy of chris), The vacuum pipes that were previously just poked through the silicone joiners we managed to tap them into the hard pipe so there is no risk of more leakage. After faffing about for ages with a mixed up vac hose we got her running sweet and went for a spin. Upped the boost to 13psi and OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! It pulls like a train through ALL the gears, i thought something was wrong with it at one point but i had just hit the speed limiter! I have destroyed the clutch and the brakes!! Il snap some decent pics of shit tomorrow, didnt get many today being busy with fixing and driving it | |

| Found a bit of info after hunting the internets and talking to a mate in the states, he pointed this out....
The stock turbo will be safe to 13-15 psi. After that, the turbo is past its efficiency range. The engine should produce 230-250 RWHP at safe boost.
Thats for the blacktop sr20det. YEAAAH! get that fancy bit of tubular pipework and exhaust system on boi!

Nah theyre not, a EK hatch weighs about 1100kgs - S14s weigh like 1250. Pretty much the same as an EK coupe haha (N)
