| Did some more today: Loom arrived with fusebox and relays/fuses, even had bulbs on it lol, bonus! although i havnt started fitting it yet. With the help of duane we made cardboard templates for the bits that need patching up, was suprisingly more of a ball ache than i thought: should be borrowing a welder tomorrow, if anyone can hook me up with some sheet metal for these patches i would be very thankfull | |

| Random but try B&Q for small sheets of aluminium or steel??
Whilst your buying sheet metal you should do what Gaz is doing get a sheet of thin pliable aluminium and pop rivit or seal it over the loom under the front arch to protect this loom?? just an idea... speak to ben about it .. | |

| Iv heard about it, id rather just remove the loom from the arch completely seeing as im relooming, they are both higher up than me so have more room to put metal sheet, I dont lol, atleast until i tub the arches. | |

| thanks man, Theres alot of hard work ahead but im stoked I went down to image wheels with one of my wheels so they could check 100% they can make me lips and to go get my lips priced up, i wanted 5" rear's and 3.5" fronts. Last minuite i decided to fark it and go with a 11j front so 4" front lips the damage is about £1200 inc bolts If i can find some similarly sized rims soonish il get them instead. | |

| Update: My dad got me an early birthday present: (not my actual one) Best dad ever? Came with large gas bottle (not sure how empty/full), mask, ear defenders :s , wire brush and G clamp (only for G's) Im exited, been thinkin of all the shit i can do now i have a proper welder! Havnt started using it yet but this spured me on to start getting the interior dash etc out so i can sort the loom/wiring. sound deadening is double layered :s I cant decide whether to strip the insides or not, or how stripped if i do strip Lurking behind the dash was this, the computer for the emanage, so releived to find out the loom im replacing doesnt mean i have to mess with this. There are all sorts of wires back there for all sorts of shit, theres even something that should plug into the fag lighter :s i have no idea what it is as its been tucked away undet the centre console for what looks like years, i wouldnt be suprised if i find some gay ass 'JDM' neons or some shit | |

| Roof racks are turning into a fresh new Rota style debate, lol, I was amazed when watching ezz strip the dash last night, unbelievable amount of random wires. Fair play though, and the pic/video log was an ingenious idea for the reassembly! | |
