| Less hassle as well dude, instead of spending time making sure you interior is all nice ect you can focus on the more important things. Now you got welder you just need a mandrel bender and you can start doing all your own custom pipes. | |

| Update from yesterday (its the mrs birthday today so obviously i cant do do shit i want to, haha) I was a bit jubious about taking the dash out and breaking clips etc but i completely dominated it and made it my bitch: Was quite releived when i started to get my head round all the wiring after taking the dash out, i suppose taking eg's apart so many times has tought me the basics of whats what and where shit tends to wire up: got the old loom unhooked at the bonnet end, just 3 more plugs inside but i had to call it a night (@ 5 past 11!) Iv decided to take the plunge and take the engine out, now i have a welder nearly anything is possible, im going to be making a custom loom, with aftermarket fusebox to fit under the dash, just gunna weld some brackets to the dash bar to mount it too, gunna tub the arches, stitch weld and respray the bay. wish me luck | |

| Got a bit more done today before it randomly monsooned (hopefully i can get some more done before the day is up) radiator out, next up is the A/C is coming out. Also upon further inspection the engine loom is burnt out So it is now definately a case of engine out, i suppose though this gives me an ideal opportunity to change the clutch and get this loom sorted out, i can also weld up the unwanted holes in the bulkhead, make ones i need AND get the whole bay seam welded up nicely before spraying. Also thinking about having a milspec connector on the firewall for the loom More updates by the end of the day, going back out once my dinner has gone down edit: also i can change the engine mounts for the super pimp spec ones, which means i can also sit the engine a little higher up for more clearance: | |

| Ye man, got it on the stand last night before i packed up. Thanks again for the help ben, tell kevin there is a bucket and sponge with his name on. Today i pulled out the dash bar and A/C unit, using my old loom i started mocking up how the loom/fusebox will sit. the wiring is seriously complicated, iv had to come in for a rest, my head is hurting I need to order wires/MIL spec connector/fuse/relay box and apropriate tools (for de/re pinning plugs) | |

| I know what your saying but thats not why i got it out, and tbh it has more than enough power for me atm, plus i do want to get it semi done for jae. As of today the engine bay is completely bare, brake lines, master cylinders, heater matrix etc etc all out, i should take more pictures i know but when im working on it i cant stop to take pics lol. soon as i get paid im going to a bodyshop suppliers with jay webb to get the materials to paint the bay and ordering these for the tubs: Then i just have to get hold of some 2mm sheet metal to fab the rest up. I had a break from the loom today, electrics stresses me out, lol | |
