Ep3 Update (more on pg2)

Having a week off cause of my back pain means i cant do fek all to my car but after it failed its mot in an epic style being 4 times over the mot test limit.
I popped over to torque flow to have my standard exhaust system fitted and while i was there had this popped this on



It seems to do its bit when attacking corners best you can while trying to stop your spine from breaking but the real test is when i get this
Tanabe sustec A frame fitted.



Im going to sand it down and along with the top strut spray them in Honda red.
Also if i have some more time off im sending the rocker off to be powder coated in spoon yellow because its 300£ less then a genuine one

If you know anyone with an ep3 who wants a backbox (still got the recipt to) £70 says they can have mine because i want a blitz or something now with a bung.

Also cant remember if i posted these on here but i will anyways.
My Blitz R-Vit and Rear lower tie bar (Upper strut is in the pipelines, as is a B & C pillar strut)

what benefits exactly are you getting from the R-vit, cant see the point of these vafc's etc

suppose it will tell you exactly what is going on engine wise and more acurate and more compact than loads of gauges.

On imports I think it will de-speed limit too like my RSM does

I have a warning set at vtec point so it turns red and at 8200 it buzzes when the limited is hit, other then that it tells you all the stuff thats going on in the hood, you cant alter any ecu settings but its nice to know the temps and
on turbos it will tell you bost and peaks and stuff, also odbII diagnostics.
quality bit of kit.

Standard exhaust system is going bye bye in the next week in place of something i got at a total bargain from the streets of japan!

Unfortunatly the bung has either been stolen of flew out last week but i cant seem to find a replacement one ... not htat it matters because without it the sounds awesoms!

springs should arrive before the weekend then they shall be fitted on sunday

lets see, since may ive added the double din headunit, ipod kit, black out the lights, had one half resprayed and de-dented all round, a few struts, i think the engine mounts and now...

seats are in, fitted em at 6am this morning with ice still on the car!
heating elements are installed to just need to fit the loom and switches (hiding them in the cup holder bit in the middle) the seats are from a 56 and the covers are a year old from honda and only used for a few months, alltogether they feel and look brand spaking new! not back for a few bob and my old seats as a swap.

right a lil update...

Heated seats are fitted and working well, installed vibe slick 50 speakers up front as i blew the standards, momo srs boss kit and momo targa in alcantera steering wheel are going to be fitted on friday, rear suspention is done (cost me 220£ just for labour!) and if someone buys them seats i can get the mugen front lip.

speakers any good? never really rated vibe but then again not really seen many products

I tried doing it myself and so did 2 other garages including honda!
The rear shocks bolts had to be taken off by oxysettalin (make them glow white hot!) then with 4 air saw blades cut the bolt and nut off, push out the old bushes and then install new ones and new bolts, a bit of a mission really.
Im thinking that i should remove the rubber cups on the bottom of the springs for a little bit of a lower stance now.

The vibes are really good and for £30 i cant grumble the front standard ones were really shit in comparison.
Im still on the lookout for a buddyblub bung, pissed off that someone nicked it as they are rare as hens teeth it seems.

While you here, anything you could reccomend cheap mod wise for the ep3
Its not really standing out at the mo.

The center cap that came with it had that crap M logo so i ripped it off,
Im going to make up my own.
Also just ordered some new front brakes, decided to just go for groves as the drilled/grooved ones i had took ages to warm up and lasted a year before cracking and glazing, Heard its normal on drilled ones to do that, so grooved it is.

Anyone fancy a go at spraying my rocker cover in something funky?

just got myself a bargain again from the ctr club.
Japspeed 4-1 branch manifold for £50 and finally an exhaust bung to go in the bc noise maker at a costly £40 but fek it i want one again.
