and also an uprated drivebelt but thats not really automotive porn so no pictures of that, I'm going to grab me a metal sander bit for my dremmel and polish out the bores some more as they could be better really but for £50 who can grumble!

Next to arrive will be my brakes then the weekend will be full of fun.
Im still juggling a few ideas for the engine bay but how does this sound.
Champ white Rocker cover, strut brace ends, air filter (exposing the cf) and then getting cf spark and manifold covers and everthing else cleaned to feck.
I'll do a shop of it over the weeknd.

Just a quick update on todays festivities.
Every bolt is a bitch!
Brakes and pads are done, braided lines are on hold untill i get a brake spanner, headers also on hold while rich ports and polishes it out better and
dual voice coil sub is going in for the hell of it and my face & hands are covered in winter road crap. yeay.

good move waiting to get brake spanner, its sucks when they get rounded (which happens easily), u can undo them and tihghten using mole grips but fucks the bolt all up.

i find that using the correct size spanner and i tap them loose with big hammer always worked for me never rounded one of as of yet but on a fresh ep doubt u wud wana risk it.

Spanners on its way, good ol ebay, sold the seats so thats my mot and tax paid for, halfway though porting and polishing the header....

The headers ports are very badly finished so richard worked on 2 ports.


Still about 8 hours worth of work to be done and were also going to do the same to the ports on the head to match them up.

nice, iirc type r heads are hand polished from factory

Just had a read up on the head and yea its hand finished but ill give the flapping tool a whirl about to clean it up.
Deadline for polishing the header is tuesday as its brake lines and header time the day after.

Car passed its mot!
Few problems though, rear number plate bulbs blown, one sidelight led was blue yet i replaced both 2 weeks back and the packet said 'white'
the noise was way to loud so an old tshirt shoved in the tail pipe solved that for 10 seconds oh and the track rod bolt wasnt and hasnt been there for sometime!!!!!
The only thing keeping my steering together was corrosion and road shit!
Im damn lucky it held together otherwise the car would be a mess if it seperated, oh and its running rich so i think its damn well time i got my arse into ecu tuning mode!

What you gunna be using for tuning again? i could do with a B18 map dropping onto a P30 or P28 at some point lol

well it was going to be an e-manage but looking at what it does and doesnt do fuel/valve and cam map wise its going to be a kpro, but my xbox 360 just died, the car needs a paint job and my wallets not feeling up to a kpro and rolling road just yet.
unless i win a large amount of cash that is.

Just died, got 3 red lights and not alot else. normally i can repair them but this just didnt want to come back to life, going to save some pennies and get an elite.
Ps3 would mean having to buy games and stuff all over again and i dont really rate them, ill only be owning one once gt5 comes out like i did with my ps2.
